Just a small order. Mostly refills. New to ech2o and the polishing soap (needed something for my exhaust tips)

Re: what's the last form of excercise you've done?

I swim daily with my two boys. Any form of water will do Pool, Lake, River, Ocean.

When I was young my father and I would swim out into the ocean for a few hours non-stop until you couldn't see...

Re: How old is everyone? (kind of a poll)

34 years old happily married with 2 boys (a 5-year-old and a 10-year-old), I'd detail a lot more if I had the time (work two jobs so I can retire early).

Re: Wash and dry a car in less than 30 minutes!

Interesting, so you washed without any buckets, and just one mitt? I assume you use the foam gun to rinse the mitt out after each panel?

Was that mitt also used for the face of the wheels or you...

Re: How to use a foam gun by Mike Phillips

Interesting I had orignally used my foam gun with Mr. Pink and wasnt that impressed. I ended up using around 8-10oz per wash in my foam gun and went trough the gallon in no time. Personally I find...

Re: How to use a foam gun by Mike Phillips

Amazingly thorough write-up Mike, as always. I actually never knew what those screws were for on the foam gun.

Q: In your opinion, is there any advantage for using a foam gun over a foam...

    Re: Water Spots After Washing

I do notice that some LSP's have more water spotting after a rain storm than others. I've found that WGURW (Uber rinseless) and CPHF (hydro foam) have the most water spotting after a rain storm....
  11. Re: Review: CarPro Dlux & Full engine detail write up

Yup, it was soaking wet, but I took it off and washed it before starting the car. It's a washable K&N filter.

To wash the filter you need to remove it. Once removed I used the K&N refill/reload...

    Application:

I found CarPro Dlux very easy to apply. I used the supplied foam block and micro suede applicator. The bottle has a little plastic insert that only allows the product to drip out one...

    Now that's a beauty!

Must be a blast to drive around in.

    Thanks for sharing.
  15. Re: Have a question about the Deep Gloss Paint Sealant V3.0 & Grit Guard pad washer

I don't own a pad cleaner, but I do clean my pads.

    My process:
When I intend to use any pads I prepare a buck of APC and water (random ratio, just poor till it looks good).
As I use the pads I...

Re: CarPro Essence with non-CarPro coating

1 hour as indicated by CarPro Essense. It was a hot low-humidity day and I had to work around the sun, meaning that I polished the panels in the shade and as the sun moved I moved to the newly shaded...

Re: The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

I wouldn't trust a dealership with someone else's car, let alone my own. I'd insist on a reputable body shop of my choice as I always do with insurance claims.

Sometimes it might cost more than...

    Re: Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Coating

I have Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Coating on my 09 Jeep SRT8. At first, I was skeptical as it was my first coating so I just did the hood and compared it to 5-6 other LSP over the course of the winter....
  20. Re: Revising my price plans. Need your opinion.

Good luck claying my SRT8 in that time. It was caked with tar and iron up to the roof.

If I work really fast it takes me 2-3 hours to clay when it's really bad (like most cars would be), and...

    Re: Water Spots After Washing

Works out to almost a dollar a gallon (in Canadian dollars). Might as well buy or make distilled water and build a gravity-fed water tank.

Re: CarPro Essence with non-CarPro coating

    I'm going to wash...
