    I drive a 2003 Edge and I'm in the same boat as you. Finally decided to just have the entire bumper and the plastic molding completely redone..

    I use PS21S as a wheelcleaner and I'm thinking that should leave the 845 in tact....I thought the brush would be the one to potentially remove the protection...
