    Re: Car Dryer

My cars are all coated which helps, but between using an Ego 650CFM blower and my CR spotless rinse system I don't really have a need a towel dry my cars...The Ego in turbo mode gets 98% of the water...

I recently bought the Ego 650 cfm leaf blower for drying my cars and it is impressive to say the least! I think it will save my from having to fire up my Stihl backpack blower for moderate clean ups...

Re: How to best use deionized water?

Thanks everyone! Have a few friends and they insisted they use it for everything, just seems like a waste of resin... Unit is still in transit (DIC-10) but I will grab a quality Y valve ASAP....

How to best use deionized water?

Mike, I recently watched your review of the CR Spotless system and am thinking about incorporating it into my wash system...

This of you that use deionized water, do you use it for the entire wash...

    Re: Coating Boosters

I just hit my wife's car that has about an 18 month old Xpel Fusion coating on it, with CarPro's reset, essence and reload treatments, after a nice decon wash...Couldn't be happier!

    Re: Gtechniq L1 Leather guard

How old and what condition is the leather? On new leather I would skip it...Not sure if a conditioner will inhibit leather guards ability to bond, probably not but you might want to test a section,...

    Re: Best Dash Cams?

Mike, I have had Blackvue's in all my cars for a few years now...

Only issue which may impact you more in Florida is overheating! I wasn't 100% sure as we keep a car in Boca Raton and thought it...

    Re: Favorite Glass Coating

Just used CarPro's Flyby30 a week or so ago...Can't speak to the durability yet, but the application process was fairly simple and so far so good! One of the cars it was applied to is a Honda...
  16. Re: Finally made it back to the track. Almost in the 9s!!

Looks and sounds great! Been 20 years or so for me since I had a 1/4 mile car! Off the top of my head you are real close 133-134 MPH which I am guessing the 3.70s should accomplish... Fun thread, you...

    Re: 2014 Corvette PlatstiDip Project

Try it on both, I had a co-worker pull his film off a 2005 BMW and he swore by the easy of removal. However he started the process with it too.

    Re: 2014 Corvette PlatstiDip Project

Try a small test spot of some diluted DIF used for wallpaper removal, just don't let it sit too long as you want to be able to peel off as a sheet not scraps.

  23. Re: My Plan Going Forward... Can I Please Get Some Advice or Guidance From Others?

Got ya... Hard for me to say as I really only use Rupes and even within that system I pretty much stick to wool and yellow foam depending on what I need to cut and finish down a white foam pad......
  24. Re: My Plan Going Forward... Can I Please Get Some Advice or Guidance From Others?

No luck making it up to Stuart? I was kind of hoping it was going to be a on line video course! What machine are you using?

I am going to suggest what I would do because I know it works....

    Why...
  25. Re: Can CarPro's leather coating be applied over Gtechniq's leather guard?

Neither has been overly hard to apply, I started with Gtechniq's based of Mike's reviews and it was everything he indicated...

Cquartz was slightly more time consuming, but nothing that couldn't...
