  2. Re: Sign-up: 2000 Camaro SS - Swirl Removal Extreme Makeover!

First, careful Mike, I am the proud owner of a miniature pot-belly pig who lives indoors and is probably the best animal you will ever own, so "stuck pig" is kind of ......OK its not offensive but I...

Re: How to restore my headlights

I do this everyday, so I have all grits. 500, 800, 1500, then just wetsand after that, 2000, 2500, then heavy compound, light compound (Meguiars 105), and polish. for the average person, buy the...

Re: How to restore my headlights

I'll just tell you. If AG wants to ban me, not really worried. man I buy a ton of stuff from AG. love them. but not 100%. there is a site that starts with an E and ends with BAY. they say AG...

Re: is this normal for Duragloss 501?

that's the problem I see with DG products. too many mixes, too many options. can mix 501 with 601, but then can throw in 105, or 111 and get something else. I know none of them offer much of any...

Re: is this normal for Duragloss 501?

no, I only own 1 DG product, its 501. will be buying 601 or 105 to mix with it, what do you recommend?

I bought it to use on my white Benz because I heard it works great on white, haven't...

Re: Introducing Wolfgang Uber ALL IN ONE!

looks like a helluva product. but the price will have to be combined with a discount. quite high.

Re: How to restore my headlights

not sure where you got those prices but they are nearly double of what you can buy these things for. and the Velcro works fine on the Meguiars pad interface I use on my GG3, never had any problem at...

Re: is this normal for Duragloss 501?

I also didn't let it cure at all, if I was supposed to. put it on via GG6, wiped of seconds later.

    Re: Touch-up paint companies

90% of the time I have paint mixed at the local auto body supply store. Single stage is usually about $10 and gives you enough to last a lifetime for future jobs. Forget the old touch up brush...

Re: Suggestions for 16 yo black paint

will need a compound, then polish, then 845. the cyclo will work well. but you will have to cut it big time to bring it back (assuming its in the kind of shape that most 16 yo paint is).
  16. Re: which coating is best for the first time using one?

just watched that. thinking it might be my choice. probably cant go wrong with any of them, just thought maybe one was more "beginner friendly".

Re: Coated my tires today and WOW,

will also give a mention to TW trim restorer. as much as I hate to say it, it was on sale for $4, so I bought some. have used it on chevy truck bumper tops, Cherokee plastic bottoms, and other...
  18. Re: which coating is best for the first time using one?

they all have good reviews, I just wonder which one is better for a beginner. maybe it doesn't matter. most of my concern is how to use them. do they have to cure for hours? do you wipe them off...
  19. which coating is best for the first time using one?

have never used a coating before but would like to try to start upselling it. very small, nearly nonexistent market for it here, but think I need to have some on hand in case. what brand should I...

Re: is this normal for Duragloss 501?

lack of product on the pad is never an issue for me, I usually use too much actually. this was the first time it had been washed, to my knowledge. I just loaned it to my parents to drive to Florida...

Re: finishing with a dewalt DWP849X

Not the Makitas I used to use. They were much heavier than the new Dewalts and didnt have soft start. Doesnt matter I always buy Dewalt tools anyway.

Re: Rupes Bigfoot 15ES or Makita Rotary?

Get an actual rotary. Nothing can replace it for heavy correction or scratch removal. I recommend the Dewalt but Makita and Milwaukee are good too just very heavy.
