Re: IGL Premier mini-review / thoughts

Very nice pics and product. Here's my issue with IGL Premiere: Once used, it has a shelf life of 6 months. See the MSDS page at the website.
Un opened, it has a 12 month shelf life.

Re: Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Coating as Booster??

I agree with that. I find the beading a little tighter with PA Cosmic Spritz, but I like the price of the WG CSC. For my next experiment I am going to apply WG CSC on top of WG SIO2 sealant to see if...

Re: Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Coating as Booster??

I do like Premier and VS1, especially VS1. Right now I'm looking for a VSI type of product that lasts a little longer. One thing about VS1, WG CSC, and PA CS, they are all quite simple to use. I tend...

Re: Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Coating as Booster??

I've used WG SIO2 spray sealant in the past and I found it 'grabby' on application. When I wipe it off, I felt I might marr the paint.

Re: Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Coating as Booster??

I've used WG Uber Ceramic Spray Coating as a booster to one half of a car coated with Feynlab. It went on and off very easily. The other half of the car was boosted with PA Cosmic Spritz. I am...

    Re: Dg #105

Still a good product but I think their 501 is a better cleaner sealant.

Re: Clay Bar or Clay Mitt?

Mitt. It's so fast and very effective. I still use IRON Remover first.

Thank you. I will be following to hear about the durability updates.
  11. Re: Has anyone compared BFs SiO2 spray sealant to Carpro Reload

As RLM said, BF SIO2 should work fine. It's the best at not streaking, at least for me. His 2nd comment about IGL Premier may also be spot-on. I've begun testing it and it is possibly even easier to...

Re: Can Coat as a Drying Aid..........

I Love it as a topper, but don't think it would be good on a moist car. You can try, maybe you are on to something, but I'd bet it is a no go.

    Re: Blackfire Si02 over CQuartz?

The BF SIO2 will be fine. It is silly easy to use. My bet is that you will find it much easier and faster to use than Reload. To test the ease of application, go around the car and just do your...
  17. Re: Has anyone compared BFs SiO2 spray sealant to Carpro Reload

The BF SIO2 Spray is the easiest SIO2 spray I've ever used. I've got Reload, Cure, and QuartzMax available, but I'll not use them again. Now I have no idea about durability, because I use the BF SiO2...

Re: Black label Diamond Paint Coating prep

I had WG DGPS on my wife's car. It was only on for 4 weeks. I used Gyeon Prep on it before using Gyeon CanCoat. It worked great.

Re: Blackfire SiO2 vs Coating Booster

We got some rain here this week, so I'll be washing a few cars this weekend. I'll try it as a drying aid and post about it.

Re: What Music do you detail to?

Play Dead. Yep, live Grateful Dead shows. I've got all 60+ live shows from 1977 right out of their soundboard (thank you Betty Cantor, Owsley Stanley, Rock Scully). I also like 1971, 72, 73, and 74....

Re: Blackfire SiO2 vs Coating Booster

I have the BF SIO2 spray. I am surprised it hasn't gotten more love here. For boosting a coating I've used Cure, Reload, and Quartz Max. I have no need for those anymore. BF SIO2 is so simple. Spray...

  23. Re: Using APC for stripping off wax instead of IPA wipedown...

Coating Prep products are fairly cheap and simple to use. I had a car with WG sealant on it, I used Gyeon Prep, and the coating I chose worked great. It will remove wax and sealants in a 15-20 minute...

    Re: SIO2 Coating Maintenance

I gave up on Cure as my wife's black car kept streaking at 50 / 50. I switched to the new BF SIO2 sealant and love it. You cannot streak it. When I run out of the 32 oz bottle, I'll but a gallon.
    If...
