    Electrical engineer.
  2. Re: If you could start all over, what would your occupation be?

That would have been a short lived career - but awesome while it lasted.

Re: Should I tip my detailer?

I agree with this and a good policy. Also considering the year we have had, the fact so many people are suffering because of loosing jobs, cutbacks in work hours etc., coupled with the higher costs...

Re: Waterless Wash how many towels

The other determinant factor is how you use the towels. I have 16" x 16" towels I fold in half then half again which gives me effectively 8-towels. Doing this, I typically put 6-towels in my bucket...

    Re: 303 aerospace protectant

I too prefer to use a microfiber sponge for better control of where it goes, but it can be sprayed on the surface as well.

Re: Quick question on engine/engine bay cleaning

I have only used a garden hose for rinsing. Prior to washing all I cover are a couple of the sensors with aluminum foil. I have not covered the alternator in years.

Nice review Mike thanks for sharing what looks like a good product. One question, can this be mixed to use as a water less wash and if so what dilution?

  11. Re: Rag Company's Pluffle or Griot's Garage's Plush Edgeless Towels?

I have used GG Plush and then started using Rag Company Pluffs and now back to GG Plush as the Rag Company rags did not work as well or last as long the GG. Another case of you get what you pay for.

Hey Paul Wishing you a Happy Birthday and many more. Do we need to send out the Fire Dept. when you blow out all those candles? LOL cuz I should talk. Enjoy your day.
  13. Re: If you don't wrench on it yourself, do you ask them not to give it a bath

Yes but in most cases since I have a DRW truck which will not fit in most car washes, service centers will not wash my truck. But, for those that hand wash I put a tag I made up in the cab to not...

Re: WHATS THE BEST iRON REMOVER

I have used three and they all did the job equally as well. I can't imagine the formulation on a product like this would vary significantly enough, if at all, to make a difference.

Re: Advice on drying towels needed!

I'll throw my hat into the GG PFM's they simply work. The way I see it, only a rich person can afford cheap towels.

Not yet. Like last one we will likely donate most of it. Last one we donated to Feed America Food bank, since far too many are going hungry because of COVID.

    Re: Rinseless wash question

I use edgeless 16" square micro fiber towels, soaked in the rinseless wash, folded in quarters. Years ago I used mitts but found them to perform less than good microfiber towels.
