    Re: Polishing in tight places

No, I use the LC 4" bp and LC 4" pads on my 3401 if I need the smallest possible pad on there but don't use that combo anymore since I use 3" pads on the Flex rotary as I find in tight places any...

    Re: Polishing in tight places

I use to use the DAS6 with an LC 3.5" bp and 4" pads for tight spots. I now use a Scholl Concepts 3" bp on my Flex PE-14 with Scholl 3.3" pads for all the tight spots. For stuff like in between...

I do exactly that with ULW and PL, mix 30% BH with either one of them, it steps up the gloss factor.

Re: Flex 3401 vs rupes 21 mark 2

Yep 4800 opm only at speed 6! Plus with only an 8mm orbit thats why its so slow in correction and old tech. Does it get the job done? Yes, just like a PC does.

Re: Flex 3401 vs rupes 21 mark 2

Coming from someone who doesn't own or have experience with a 21 MKII, yeah you definitely are a liar along with another ignorant poster or two who will soon come in with more lies.

Re: Flex 3401 vs rupes 21 mark 2

Do you own both a 3401 and a MKII 21? If not, yours and others advice here are null and void. The 21 MKII NOT ONLY TAMES THE " BEAST", IT DESTROYS IT ON ALL COUNTS!

    Seriously can't see the point...

Re: Flex 3401 vs rupes 21 mark 2

The 21 MKII has no competitor from any other DA, closest competitor in power and speed of correction would be a Flex PE-14 rotary. The 3401 is more around an LHR15ES. If you have absolutely no...
  9. Re: Polish & Compound for tackling soft/sticky paint

If you happy with Scholls the closest would be Menzerna or Koch Chemie. All 3 are German with a slight edge going to Koch Chemie in all categories.

Re: rupes mark II 21" vs 15"

The 15MKII is more powerful than any other brand long throw on the market.

    So heres keeping it simple:

    15 MKII- Very Powerful
    21 MKII- Ridiculously Powerful.

    That should clear things up.

I assume you talking about my review in London, if so yes but 4 stars actually, it lost a star to it being so pricy.

Re: rupes mark II 21" vs 15"

If anyone posts a link on Kamakazi this thread will be moved or deleted as witnessed previously as its not an OEM Rupes upgrade part nor is it sold on AG. If you find it too pricy just get the 5" bp...

Also to clarify a post of mine about the rattling after fitting the oem 5" bp to the 21, I just realised that wasn't so much the 5" bp as my machine did it with the 6" bp too. Turns out the rubber...

Re: rupes mark II 21" vs 15"

Theres no need for the Katana as the Beast will cover all those machines. Just buy one and swop it between them whichever machine you using at the time as they quite pricy.

Re: rupes mark II 21" vs 15"

I have done exactly that and I wasn't happy as my machine had a rattling noise and vibrated. I then ordered the Kamakazi Beast bp and that allowed me to run 5.5" pads smoothly.

Re: rupes mark II 21" vs 15"

That GG6 850W (DAS 6 Pro)with a 3" and 5" bp is a performance bargain. I would go as far as to say from all polishers its the best bang for the buck. GG6 + Rupes 21 MKII, no need for anything else....
