Like others have posted, I have used mine many times with no problems.
Just a guess but lubrication and speed must be the problem. I mainly use Nano Skin lubricant but have tried others with no...
A long time ago after watching Mike using a white cotton bath towel in his videos I bought several cheap ones and keep one beside me as I buff.
I use one after each section pass. It's fast, easy...
Great review and looks like a excellent spray wax. I also like the way spray products help maintain a beautiful shine with so little effort after getting the paint perfect with products that take...
I have the 4" and 6 1/2" blue and white wool foam pads.
When you try them on the Flex along with Menzerna FG400 you are not going to believe how fast correction takes place. The combination is...
Good job! Thanks for the pictures and write up. I really enjoyed them.
I have the compound but haven't tried the wax yet. I need to order some soon.
Beautiful cars.
Beautiful work. Excellent products.
Fun time. Wish I could have been there.
Thanks for the pics!
Excellent, Mike.
It is a mystery to me how much negative feedback I get when I try to post a friendly response to questions about using a rotary buffer.
Anyone that gets a PE14 in their...
Great review and demo.
I saw it on the new products page a few days ago. Definitely ordering some soon.
I have been using polymer products and like the idea of carnauba being added to a...
I wish I lived in Florida also! I would really like to get my hands on that Mopar.
I hope I get this accurate.
In '69 and '70 Chrysler made the Super Bird and Daytona with a huge...
You are not crazy or missing anything.
Years ago it was impossible but now with the latest pads and polishes it is very doable.
I have three rotaries and a 3401. The CCS pads are my...
Mike, As usual great idea and demo.
I think my wife buys the peel off ones by the gross, I'll have to sneak a couple out to my shop.
She will never miss them, Ha.
:dblthumb2:
After waxing with a 3401 I maintain with spray polymer quick waxes. So my personal vehicles do not get buffed that often. They are also garaged which helps.
Beautiful job. If that's original fuel injection it makes the car worth a fortune!
Mike, I never miss any of your comments or pictures. I enjoy them so much that I look at them over and over.
The cars look great and I'm sure others would like to see the pictures and comments...
I use Meguiars Wash & Wax. It's streak free and also works well on the dash and all other interior plastic parts that are in good shape.
I have the same problems as you do. I'm in my mid sixties and have a lot of aches and pains.
I purchased a Flex PE14 a few months ago and it's the finest buffer I have ever used. I haven't had...
What a enjoyable thread to read. I've been a rotary man for many years and with all of the new products, pads, backing plates and variable speed machines available now you can do anything with a...
Excellent job on a beautiful truck. I drive an '06 which is probably the best truck I have ever owned.
Mike, Somehow I missed your excellent post on sanding with the 3401.
Around the first of November I tried the Trizact 3000 grit system on the Flex and also tried Meguiars Unigrit 1500 grit...
It took some time to find but it looks like the Bird was painted with DuPont Lucite acrylic lacquer.
Color Code 99
I'm with you Mike, if this info is right your in for a real good time...
Mike, The article was great! I've been on pins and needles waiting to buy some PP Ultra.
Since you sold me on Menzerna I have almost everything they sell at AG. Definitely the Mercedes Benz of...
I have always really liked these Birds. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I think GM was still using acrylic lacquer then.
They sprayed it on...
I am a little late getting in on this discussion, sickness.
I wouldn't give up my Flex 3401 and use it often but it's hard not to use the PE14, it's so quiet and smooth.
I've been using a...
I just now checked and the 2006 Mustang Meguiars video has 11,868 views and the '65 Mustang cut and buff 1 and 2 has 66,622 views.
Of course a few of these are me watching more than once.

Mike,
I would really enjoy watching the video of your correction of the Hudson on YouTube. Seems like it's been a long time since one of your, full correction, videos has been posted.
I...
