Re: What do you listen to when you drive?

Mostly sports talk with some Howard Stern mixed in.

If I'm in the mood for music something off my USB.

Re: Issues with Buff and Shine Pads

When I wash my pads no mater how much I try to wring all the water out it still seem to take 4 or 5 days for them to be completely dry. I'm wondering if the pads may have had some moisture still in...

Re: HD Speed still a great product

How do the pads clean up after using Speed? I bought a bottle of Speed a while back and have a friend who wants me to help detail his new car this spring and this may be the perfect time to try it....

    Re: Sealants on glass

    I was talking exterior only.

I was curious if anyone had tried any of the others I had mentioned. CG's recommends Jetseal for use on glass and it does work great but it's the only thing I use...

    Sealants on glass

I've been using Jetseal on my glass and it works great but I am almost out. I thought I read somewhere that some sealants may fog up the glass. I currently have HD Poxy, Menzerna Power Lock, and...

Re: Removing Plasti Dip From Rims

If the plasti dip was put on thick enough it should peel off in one big piece. It scrapes off fairly easily, I just used my finger. I would think goo gone of even an APC would make it easier.
  10. Re: I bought a WORX 20V Powershot cordless power cleaner, anyone use one?

The turbo nozzle makes the Hydroshot work kind of like a Tornador. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNAc493-ems
  11. Re: I bought a WORX 20V Powershot cordless power cleaner, anyone use one?

That is the main reason I picked one up. For winter rinseless washes it should work great to knock off some of the salt and road grime off prior to washing. It seems to have plenty of power to do...
  12. Re: Why you want a SCANGRIP Sunmatch Swirl Finder Light - Initial Inspection, Final Inspection and everything in-between!

    Question.

I picked one of these up from AG and a couple of weeks ago I finally had a chance to use it. I love the light but don't like that the battery level bars only light up when it's on the...

Re: Waterless wash fans get in here...

    This one?

They also sell the Kwazar Venus Super Compression Sprayer Pro.

I have used the AG one for a couple of years for rinseless pre spray and it works great. My only complaint is the small...
  14. Re: Restoring white paint on my 4,000 mile 'Barn Find' '62 Rambler

I would pick a test spot and try a few more more rounds of M7 and do another one with a compound or polish. Check the results and go from there. Nice car BTW!

Re: CG P40 or MEGS D156

I agree, it isn't a spray wax. It does smell great though.

Re: Favorite drying towel of 2017?

I do mostly rinseless washes and they work great. Nothing I've tried comes close to the PFM's.
  18. Re: Review: Kwazar Venus Super Compression Sprayer Pro

Any reason not to go with the HD version especially since they are the same price?
  19. Re: Big blue vs PFM drying towel: anyone used both?

I have used both and I think the PFM absorbs water better. I tend to go heavy on the detail spray when drying and always had to follow up the initial drying with a second towel. With the PFM it just...

    Re: Drying Towel

The Big Blue is a great towel but IMO the GG PFM is better.

Totally agree! I've been using them for about 6 months and it's made drying the car so much easier.

    Re: Shop-vac hose replacement suggestions

I agree. The orange hose is part of the auto detailing kit 1-1/4" diameter and 10' long. It works so much better than the bigger hose.

    Re: Streaky Spray Wax help!

Cool humid conditions can make drying/buffing off product more difficult. I can really tell in the winter. When I bring my cold car into a heated shop to wash the first panels take a couple of passes...
  24. Re: Constant bonded contaminates on daily driver

    Mud flaps definitely help.

Someone just came out with a product that you add to your soap that is supposed to boost the cleaning properties and help prevent corrosion. Sounds like an interesting...
  25. Re: Recommendations for backing plate and pads for my GG

If you want to stick with Meguiars the Meguiars 5 Inch DA Foam Discs are good pads. Add a couple MF cutting pads if the paint is hard and you are set.
