    Re: Cerakote ceramic sealant coating...

I have used their ceramic trim kit and it is fantastic. I recommend a knock down after a few minutes to even it out, but I have used it on two 2016 vehicles over a year ago and the trim still looks...

Re: Ceramic coated my car, residue remaining

I just took out the high spots on my car with some mild polish on a microfiber towel. If it's a tiny spot it's easier to only hit that spot, and IME you can "FEEL" when it's gone/diminished....

Re: What did you do today non-detailing related?

When I was doing the coating I heard a loud pop, figure out what it was today when I back out of the garage. Spring blocks were still in.

Got the new Camaro back yesterday from PPF installation. They actually covered more than I was initially told so I'm much happier with the price. Nearly lower foot of the entire car covered,...

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Green pad/M205/15mm throw the entire ZL1. Never got close until I bought one to realize the grille and air ducts around the "fauxglight"(extra DRLs) are painted a metallic charcoal. Thought it was...

Re: Here is a problem to solve!

Thank You! I've wanted a ZL1 since the 5th gen, and I kept saying that would be the next Camaro. But time is running out, so I felt it was now or never, especially with all the BS going on with GM...

Re: Here is a problem to solve!

    It basically is. :D

I know you don't have to, and it's most likely redundant, but I like to do it just in case, because I just prefer to wash again.

I've done it without the extra wash before,...

Re: Here is a problem to solve!

It was run through a contact tunnel wash at some point in its 14 miles life before it got to me. or else some idiot washed it

I just started correcting it, after a foam/pressure rinse/ Iron...

Re: Here is a problem to solve!

    Alternate it is.

This is going to break my tradition of putting a sealant/wax on the day I get the car.

I'm not very worried about stone chips, I know my area enough of where I can go and where...

Here is a problem to solve!

I have a new car being delivered on the 6th, and have a bit of a predicament:
The soonest my go to shop can install PPF is when I won't be in town, so I have had to schedule it for the first few...

Re: Turtle Wax GRAPHENE Flex Wax

I'm curious as to if this is any good. I finally got around to trying their hybrid solutions ceramic spray, which I applied to a surface that had been prepared with a strip wash and then their...
  13. Re: Turtle Wax Hybrid Spray Coating - Are the reviews misleading?

I saw them on a shelf at a store and the name "polishing compound" seemed very old school, got me curious if it was a polish or a compound. I don't think it(the polishing compound) is...
  14. Re: Turtle Wax Hybrid Spray Coating - Are the reviews misleading?

I think I know why they used that word, they have some green bottle products called "Polishing Compound" and "Rubbing Compound", their lowest tier polish and compound.
