    Trouble with CQuartz UK Longevity--Tips?

Glad you got it cleaned up. Coatings are great, but they like to be clean.

I use McKees 37 SiO2 Auto wash on all our coated cars. Smells like watermelon and works great.

    Here’s a link:...

Re: Trouble with CQuartz UK Longevity--Tips?

My daily driver is coated with CQUK 3.0, I drive a lot of dirt & gravel roads. Due to the amount of road debris that gets kicked up (also park near a railway at work) I find I need to decontaminate...

Re: Paint protection....what is the best option?

Nope. Nothing else. You could use a QD as a drying agent after washing. But this stuff is so easy that you could use it every few months to insure proper coverage and protection.

    I’d probably...

Paint protection....what is the best option?

Use a long sweeping motion to spray an area. Then By flushing it with a stream of water it carries it all over the fender. It’s pretty cool stuff. Been using it a lot for Freinds and family.

Re: Paint protection....what is the best option?

If your not ready for a full coating application check out Mckees 37 Hydro Blue. It’s the easiest protection you will find. Simply mist on your wet paint after washing, re-rinse with High pressure...

Re: Most user friendly ceramic coating?

CQUK 3.0 is pretty easy. But WGUC is easier in my opinion. We got 2 years out of WGUC including winters. I’ve used both and like both.

Re: Snow/Ice adhesion on coated cars

No wiper chatter with the PBL Glass Coating and Bosch Icon wipers or Michelin Wipers.

I also used the McKees 37 Anti-Frost in the washer fluid.

Windshield stated and clean last winter.

  18. Coated paint started streaking like crazy! Help!

Interesting. Did you find it stronger than Reset?

I’ll report back next weekend, I have a bottle on the way and I’ll try it on CQUK & WGUC.
  19. Re: Coated paint started streaking like crazy! Help!

McKees 37 also has a pre-coating prep wash. I just asked Nick @ McKees about using this to deep clean a current coating and he said it would work great. I just ordered some to use in place of Reset.

    Re: Tire coating or not?

The McKee’s 37 Tire coating is great. It has a satin/matte finish with 2-2 coats. Anymore and it will develop a shine. I’ve been quite happy with it.

Wolfgang Interior Sealant or the McKee’s Fast Interior cleaner are both great options. I’m using both in my VW Alltrack.
