    Re: TurtleWax Rinseless Wash

It was in the Clearance bin, not with the other stuff. Tampa Road in Oldsmar Fl. I think they just made the wax version.
  2. Re: Some love for a product you hardly hear about anymore.

An added benefit of the Griots is that it's available at some Advance Auto Parts, so you can pick up a bottle between AG orders.

Spray Wax is an odd lot. Most of them don't have enough wax to make...

Re: Good LSP for metallic paint?

I contacted Collinite and they said wait 2 to 24 hours between coats, regardless of 845 or 915.
I'll try to get some pics later, too tired now, but it bears pointing out that my paint was very...

+1, but they both look great. This weekend I'm layering 915 on top of 845, and POP goes my dark blue metal flakes!

    Re: TurtleWax Rinseless Wash

Bumping this old thread to say that TW Rinse-Free Wash is on clearance at Advance Auto Parts for $4.99. That tells me Average Joe ain't hoping on the rinseless wagon just yet.

I may go get me some!

Hi Pro. I'm assuming by your avatar and posts that you are affilitated with Prima. Which is great if that true. And if it's true, you might want to be aware of AG's (or your) typo in the...

Re: Help with a spray wax

It seems D151 isn't simply a spray wax. AG states that it .."is aggressive enough to remove severe defects" (!)

Re: Mixing products together. What's your recipe?

Good read, indeed. Thanks Bob. I guess polishing oils aren't evil after all, even those left by "cleanser" products. :props:

Re: Good LSP for metallic paint?

Have you tried Collinite 915? It's durable and always looks great. Sticking with wax, PB Natty's Blue is popular on dark paint and just blew away Meg's and Mothers waxes on my dark blue Jettta, and...

Re: Mixing products together. What's your recipe?

Can you explain this Allen? Don't you want the surface free of oils and product in general before wax?

Re: Mixing products together. What's your recipe?

The mixture cleans up polishing oils left so that inspection can be done. It (P21 Paintwork Cleanser) does this full strength as well. The product is supposed to get your paint ready for wax, right....
  14. Re: Anyone use Rinseless as their primary wash method?

Thank for this info Tiger. Sorry to digress the thread a bit there. I've heard so many good reports on Ammo Hydrate. Add to cart.

CG Silk & Shine is working great for me, and lasts weeks. And you can use it on trim too.

  21. Re: Anyone use Rinseless as their primary wash method?

Ultimate Polish, especially by hand, is not what you need.

Buy a bottle of Menzerna PF 2500 (Power Finish) here on Autogeek. You will be amazed at the difference. Also get an 4" Lake Country...

Re: Help choosing an in-between polish/compound.

Menz PF works well by hand and machine. It finishes down perfectly. Sometimes I think a finer polish is a waste if time, at least on my cars.

Mixing products together. What's your recipe?

For me, this isn't so much about making a "superior product" as it is for extending what I have on-hand. Occasionally, I have ended up with something I really like. My successful science experiements...
