Stoner Tarminator - I usually let it soak the tar a bit... it will literally drip off sometimes.

I personally havent had a problem with it. I usually apply by machine, and wipe it off within about 5 minutes. Good luck!

I 2nd the Goo Gone idea. Its what I always use to remove adhesive. I've never let it dwell for a long time... so im not sure if it has any permanent affects on paint.

I did Speed 4, 3 Heavy/slow passes, 2 with medium pressure and medium speed, one with low pressure/fast speed. I have a little bit of a learning curve with the 3401. Im so used to my PC7424XP. ...
