  1. Re: Finishing polish for new Audi with very hard paint

Thank you very much for the reply. I happen to have both the FG400 and the SF4000 on hand so I will pick up some of those pads. Thanks again!
  2. Re: Finishing polish for new Audi with very hard paint

That looks fantastic. Can you tell me which MF Pad(s) you used?
  3. Re: Review: 3D ONE Hybrid Cutting Compound and Finishing Polish

So, I got my 3D ONE and I purchased a Griots Garage 6 Random Orbital Polisher at the same time. I figure I will use the PC 7424 with the 3" backing plate for the tight areas and the GG6 for the...
  4. Re: Review: 3D ONE Hybrid Cutting Compound and Finishing Polish

Wow WRAPT, you have certainly given ONE a thorough test ride. I just purchased a bottle, it has not shipped yet, and am curious to find out some feedback/opinions from the folks that have used ONE...

Re: Yes, they are slow to ship

I ordered 3 micro fiber towels (waffle weave guzzlers) on Feb 17, it took 2 days to get the tracking number and now it says they will be delivered on March 1. I think 2 weeks is just too long to wait...

    Re: Compound/Polish advice

Thank you Mike, I appreciate the advice. I will definitely try that on my wife's car next. I was using the LC Hydro pads with the FG400 and the LC CCS pads with the SF4000, would you recommend the LC...

    Re: Compound/Polish advice

Hi Mike ~ I use a Porter Cable and had it at 6. I was rotating 4 orange LC pads and typically the dusting would primarily occur on the 2nd section with a pad. I typically do two 20" by 20" sections...

    Re: Compound/Polish advice

The FG400 seems a tad dusty to me, could be the Indian and not the arrow, but the SF4000 finishes like a dream. That stuff is amazing. I was using 8 passes with the FG400 and 5 or 6 with the SF4000,...
  9. Re: Best Pads for Menzerna FG400 and WG Swirl Remover

Thanks Allen! I got the FG400 for working on a different car that needed more correction work. The WGTSR is for the car with light swirls. I am thinking of picking up some 5 1/2" Hydro pads. I will...
  10. Re: Best Pads for Menzerna FG400 and WG Swirl Remover

Thank you for the feedback, it is nice when you get the results you were hoping for.

Excellent, thank you for referencing to use these with the PC.

Thanks Smokin - seems like the more pads the...
  11. Re: Best Pads for Menzerna FG400 and WG Swirl Remover

I am using a Porter Cable.
  12. Best Pads for Menzerna FG400 and WG Swirl Remover

    Hello,

Thank you in advance for your thoughts. I was wondering if the flat pads are better for Menzerna and Wolfgang products than the CCS Smart Pads? I have read that flat are better with DAT...

Re: Please Critique my CART and my Process!

It may not feel rough if you run your hand across it; after you wash the car put a plastic sandwich baggy over your hand and see if the paint grabs the bag, feels rough. My son's new car felt fine to...
  14. Re: How to protect brand new car paint and interior?

My son got a new car in December. For the exterior paint we washed, used Iron X, used clay bar (it was amazing how many contaminants were on the paint), applied Klasse AIO (use this on the windows...

    Re: What CCS Pad/Speed?

You are correct you would apply the AIO and then the SG. With Klasse products you can easily apply them both by hand, although you can use the DA with the AIO. I would apply the SG by hand.

Re: Have I removed enough contaminents?

I think there are several products out there that are specifically designed to remove bugs, tar and tree sap. You could do a search and review those items to see if there might be one ideally suited...

Re: Pinnacle or Wolfgang leather condition better?

Excellent! In that case, I liked the way the conditioner finished. It was not slick or sticky like the Lexol conditioner seems to get. Truth be told though, I am not sure there was much difference...

Re: Pinnacle or Wolfgang leather condition better?

I have used the Pinnacle Leather cleaner with a brush on some very dirty leather seats and they turned out great. The seats are back to their original color and they look and feel excellent. I used...

  21. Re: Review: NEW 2014 Mothers Back-to-Black Heavy Duty Trim Cleaner

For me this product worked very well, especially on the oxidized areas. Did you use the brush and agitate those troubled areas thoroughly? I was 100% satisfied with this product, for me it did...

Re: Who likes people touching their car???

I don't even really touch my paint unless I have a microfiber towel or my microfiber gloves on. Skin, even dry looking skin, leaves oil on the surface and I simply don't like it. That being said,...

    Re: Menzerna SF4000 Questions

I am trying to decide between the SF 4000 or the SF 4500 after the FG 400. The 4000 has slightly more cut; they both apparently finish quite well. Does anyone have opinions/thoughts on which combo...

I love the Klasse twins, I applied them to my wife's car about 1 month ago and the car looks as good today as it did then. I have only washed it once since then and the dirt just slid right off the...
