    Re: Claying

I use the nanoskin speedy prep pads or whatever they're called and they work much better. Much faster to use and most importantly if you drop them you can just rinse them off, no more wasted clay

    Re: ?!?clay not working?!?

Did you redo a baggie test after claying bc even if your clay looks OK you might have still gotten the contaminants so do another baggie test after. If that doesn't work then try a more aggressive...

Re: Who uses grit guards in wheel bucket?

It adds an extra layer of protection and often I use the wash solution after washing the cars to do rims if I'm using something like ONR

I might have to take you up on that, but I'm almost done reading it so I'll probably finish that first.

Bought one a few weeks ago and I must say that it is a must-have for any detailer. I just wish I'd waited until now to order so that I could get a signed copy lol.

    Re: Hose nozzles

I was happy with the one I had but then I started using a new one which had half the pressure of the old one. It was from harbor freight so it might be that lol

    Hose nozzles

So I'm looking at getting a firemans hose nozzle as a replacement to my crappy 6 function spray nozzle and I wanted to know everyone's opinion. Are the firemen's nozzles worth it or what does...

    Re: Gtechniq North America gone?

I tried to get on their website a month ago to get some information on polish I bought from them last year and I couldn't after trying for over a half hour. Glad I didn't get too attached to the...

Re: when i wax this spring....

The basic rule of thumb is to apply the longest lasting product first and the shortest lasting product last so that that wears off and you can re-apply.

    Ozone Machines

So I've seen some people talking about ozone machines and I've done just a little research and all I've found is it uses negative ions to remove odors and they cost a fortune. So if anyone can...

    Re: Afraid to marr paint!

When applying polish by hand it can have no effect because its done by hand. Think about it, your hand, no matter how strong you are, can't move as fast as a machine. There are certain abrasives in...

    Re: Afraid to marr paint!

You'll get a lot of different responses on this, but any polish is gonna suck to use without a machine. I'd recommend using Meguiar's Ultimate Polish bc no matter your experience level you can't...

    Re: Afraid to marr paint!

Use lots of lube and you wont have any issue with marring because the bar isn't insanely aggressive. If you're trying to strip off old wax so you can put something else on then use some dish soap to...

Re: Can you layer spray wax

Technically you can, but I don't see why you would. If you go over the car and hit every spot you should be fine for more than one wash.
