Anyway, it's been cleaned. And sadly I had to put more effort in.

Re: Lake Country Hybrid Heavy Cut Pads

The paint was washed and clayyed a day before cutting.

I had used Megs D155 Last Touch to wipe the panels before polishing. And noticed the pads don't come out as dark, when I didn't apply the QD...

Blackened Lake Country Hybrid Heavy Cut Pads

    Hi,

First time detailer here. I am working on my wife's Black VW Polo. It's a fairly new car late 2017 with 24,000 kms on it. So paint condition is not too shabby.

I am using Flex 3401 with LC...

I used 845 on my shower cabin glass yesterday. I love when stuff cleans itself.

Excellent written guide Nick, which still holds even after so many years!

    Thanks for your input Mike.

Just going to confirm this. Shall I be trying the Black Pad with Scholl's S30 ?

Hi SArao, yes this is normal behaviour of free rotation DAS 6. The geared DA polishers such as a Flex 3401 will not stop under pressure.
Try to find a FLEX locally in India, if you can.
