  1. Re: Convert Dremel rotary tool into 1" or 2" polishing rotary tool

I polish a lot of metal and once adapted a 3" flappy wheel to mine. Burned up the Dremel in a matter of minutes. I agree with the lack of torque statement.

Re: How old is everyone? (kind of a poll)

I'm 43 and coming up on a year of full time detailing. I was part time for a few years before I retired from the Air Force last October. I was a helicopter mechanic during my time in so I am beat up...

Re: Your fav start over shampoo

CG citrus wash is my favorite CG product. I save the soap when I'm done and use it to clean my pads.

Re: Most regretted detailing product purchase

Mine has the black specks, walking and a clunking sound. I have a total of about 30 minutes on it before it all started to happen. I had money to make so I gave up on it. I plan to call tomorrow and...

Re: Most regretted detailing product purchase

I ran into the same issue with my XFE and went back to using my 3401s. I haven't found time to open it up and see what's going on yet. Have you found out the cause or a fix?
  6. Re: Gift Certificate Sale! Ends TONIGHT (May 31st!!!!) at Midnight!

I too the bait. How long to process and email the gift card? I seem to remember receiving it within a few minutes during the Christmas special.

I found this one at my local hardware store and it's great. Folds down to save space and is bright.
    It's a Utilitech Pro.

Re: Should I add a Flex 3401 to my arsenal?

LC Hybrids work great with the Flex. I've also like B&S flat pads.

    Re: Uhaul (truck rental) fundraiser

Good on you for taking care of neighbors. Avoid the go fund me if possible since they take their chunk out of all donations.
  10. Re: Polishing aluminium and it stays hazy/scratched?

What rouge and wheels are you using? Cleaning your wheels between passes?
Soft aluminum is a pain since it holds rouge. Fill a old sock up with baking soda and lightly rub after each compounding...

    Re: Starting out mobile

I use a Mytee HP100 extractor but that blows your budget. The steamer works well on most stains so you can use it for now and save up for a extractor.

GG6" is great for starting out and can do...

    Re: Clean Freak Commercial Extractor

I guess it could be. I put it the bucket, plug it in and wait about 10 minutes. Unplug/remove it and start washing. The water stays nice and warm throughout the wash.

    Re: Clean Freak Commercial Extractor

Exactly... $30 and you have very hot water. If your mobile and it's cold, a bucket heater is worth it's weight in gold. No more reaching into a ice cold wash bucket.

    Re: New Gas Cans

I recently went full time on my mobile operation and wanted dedicated cans for work.
I have cans that are 10-15 years old sitting in the shed and haven't had a need to replace them.

I was in a rush to get it done so I didn't even think about pictures till long after the sun went down. This is one I took of the hood.
