  7. Re: CQUK 3.0 - No water beading only after 2 weeks....

If a soap has any "wax" in it, it basically applies a layer (now using the hydrophobic properties of said "wax" ontop on the coating) Once this is removed or wares down the coating should act as...
  8. Re: Foam cannon applied ceramic coatings--have tips?

I have heard of this product but it sounds more like a sealant than a coating. Applied and acts just like wet coat and Hydro2. But they call it a coating.

    Straight from their website also...

Re: For those who have upgraded to the BOSS

If you plan to only have 1 machine, keep the gg6. Versatility with backing plates able to go smaller such as 3in 4in all the way up. G15/21 you can not.

I still use my GG6 every detail along with...

    Re: Official Non-Griot's pad discussion

I find that a slightly thicker pad makes using a long throw a little easier esp. on curved panels. I only use 5.5in as well. Just my thoughts. The only thin pads I use regularly are MF, or Boss...

    Re: Official Non-Griot's pad discussion

When i first started i used CCS pads. And I still to this day use them on my g21 and g15. No problems, inexpensive and they are a work horse type pad imo.

    Re: CQUK - beading reduced

Reset is a good soap, but it can be very expensive compared to others. Just look around for a wash with little to no polymers. I believe hyper wash is good, def a few others out there for a better...

    Re: Coating Questions - End-of-Life

I think you answered your own question here with #2.

Some of the auto car washes put spray wax on cars, which coupled with the coating might make it appear the coating is still good. But to me...
