Personally I love buffing a car and so am hesitant as to whether I want to work for a company that primarily seeks to use this stuff in replacement to traditional buffing.
Here's a picture I found from a company that uses the technology. Not that impressive but maybe worth it for some from cost point of view compared to repainting??

As I understand it the quality might not be quite as good as polishing but takes less than half the time it would to buff and therefore can be offered at a much cheaper price to still get a decent...

Hey guys I am having trouble finishing up swirl free with the rotary buffer. Yesterday I worked on a black car. I cut it with a yellow medium foam pad, medium compound, 2200 rpm. I then buffed it...
This is really helpful, thank you. Another question - am I likely to leave swirls etc if I am only using a light cutting pad with a GS1 leveling polish (not compound)? I assume it's possible but less...
Thanks a lot guys. I work for a detail shop where they only use rotary machines and I have been used to DA. So they don't really offer smaller pads for the rotary, but wish they did.
Hi guys. I have recently started using a rotary buffer (Dewalt, 8" pads). However I have found controlling the buffer in smooth straight lines very difficult. It's like the buffer has a mind of its...

Can I use these brushes on seat fabric (as well as the floor carpet) or would they be too rough for the seats? Would perhaps the white brush be more suitable?
