Tomorrow I plan on ceramic coating my car for the first time with Gyeon Mohs, however a couple of weeks ago I used Ech20 as a drying aid so this needs to be removed as I’m seeing it...

Bumping this up.

Roughly how many applicators are used for a single coat, like Gyeon Mohs, just the applicator it comes with or will I need more?

Also still debating between Mohs and CQUK on my light gray M2 (not pictured). Leaning Mohs.

I found Gyeon’s Water spot remover to be pretty good.

I used descale (bucket) to remove my water spots and just found myself using the Gyeon product to get them out. I learned I have very hard...

Safe to put on a second coat 24 hours after the first? Or did I miss the window?

I’ve run into the issue where the rainbow effect isn’t so evident with D.Lux. Sometimes I’ll get it, and then on another part of the wheel I won’t. Perhaps too much product? Conditions weren’t...

With UK3.0, does it have to flash to be ready to remove? Meaning, if it’s not flashing, wait until it does?

I ceramic coated the same wheels about a month ago p, boy we’re they a pain the butt.

I feel like they have to with the emergence of Gyeon’s EVO line and the recent updates to G-Technic as well. They came out with that professional DQuartz but I remember Pan the Organizer mentioned...

On top of my new car coming in, i now own half of the the CarPro and Gyeon lines. :laughing:

Was recently reading through some TRC reviews on Amazon and some have reported marring and others have loved it.

I had my mindset on UK3.0 but slickness and only needing one true coat swayed me to Mohs. I’ll be applying mine in a few weeks.

After reading some of the glowing reviews and watching a bunch of YouTube videos, I’ll be throwing out my CarPro fanboy card and going Gyeon Mohs.

The Rag Company pearl towels for coating removal. They have a 12pack for $23 on their site or the edgeless 300 will also do the trick and they're a bit cheaper.

For a car’s first foam wash, would an acidic car soap be recommended or should I stick to Reset?
