    Re: good topic to discuss

No chance of prices dropping like that. There's some speculation built into the price of oil, but the underlying fundamentals are sound. This is a supply/demand issue of epic proportions.

    In the...

The only things I can think of are extractor and a pressure washer. I'm pretty well-stocked otherwise

    Re: What's your favorite beer?

I'm all over the map. Everything from Stone I've tried is really good. Sierra Nevada, Rogue, many of the Belgian Ales. Although recently I've found myself drinking more wine than beer. I've been...

Thanks for all the feedback on the GS. Once I tried one I was sold.

You can find grout sponges at home improvement stores. Just $2 too. :)

Re: What's the best wash tool to use with ONR?

I use a grout sponge and a plush MF towel to dry. I was using a sea sponge but have found the grout sponge to hold more solution.

    2007 Honda S2000

I traded in my '06 Mazdaspeed6 for this new '07 S2000 last week. The dealer was eager to move it so gave me a nice deal. Basically they threw in every installed accessory for free.

    It had been...

Sticker says 20/26. I'll find out how accurate that is as I spend some time with the car.

    Re: New car! :)

    Thanks blk and klumzy!

I'm really looking forward to seeing souveran on this car once it's polished up.

My previous car had a metallic paint that IMO sealants brought the best out of. But,...

    Re: New car! :)

    Thanks, guidosrx8!

I was thinking the same. Once I polish it I'm going to top it with some souveran. I just love the non-metallic red. I may put some RMG on beforehand just to get that extra pop.

    New car! :)

    Gotta love my wife...

I really had no intention of buying a new car up until a week ago when I checked out an S2000. I came across this new 07 this weekend that the dealer was eager to move off...

    Re: Anybody watching the markets?

I sold the bulk of my equity investments last year in anticipation of what's occurring now. It was only a matter of time until the subprime mess and high energy prices caught up with the markets.

Re: 303 Aerospace cleaner on carpets

I use the Ridgid 14 gallon 6hp vac.

I haven't used the 303 for cleaning trim, but I do use it for wheel wells and engine bays. It's nice that it can be diluted quite a bit and still remain...

Re: 303 Aerospace cleaner on carpets

303 cleaner has worked well for me. I usually dilute about 30:1 for general cleaning.

I think a good example of its power is from an i30 I detailed a while back. Initially I started with a 30:1...

I still use the phone book yellow pages. I just prefer it over the internet for some reason. The same way I still enjoy reading a newspaper more than reading news online.

    Re: Water filter care

Re: What would you guys Charge for this Job

First off, great work! The car looks really good. Unfortunately, the PC (and UDM I suppose, although I've never used one) take a long time to correct a badly swirlled car. It is for that reason that...

Re: Tape off ridges when polishing ?

Unless you're really going at an edge aggressively with the PC everything should be fine without taping. Just take care around those areas as the paint is usually thinner.
