Re: Gloss black IROC-Z attacked by a rotary..

I was referring to the TA's with the 301 turbo. 81 (and maybe 80, too?). I remember test driving one years ago and it just seemed terrible, even for the era. The turbo V6's Buick put in the T-Type...

Re: Gloss black IROC-Z attacked by a rotary..

The turbo TransAm pace cars were great. The 81 turbo was a DOG and couldn't get out of it's own way. I miss the days when American car companies could "experiment" lol.

Re: Gloss black IROC-Z attacked by a rotary..

I had an 84 Z28 and I loved it. I had an auto w/OD and they were just terrible transmissions. I ended up buying a foxbody and fell in love with those. When the IROC's came out, I was wanting to go...

Man, that Victa is the Mad Mulcher lol.

Looking at your fresh underbody on that little beast reminds me of what I did with my new mower before I started using it. I had some Adam's Polishes...

Re: Challenger SRT DEMON wide body. Last call.

There are several vehicles from those times that I truly love, even though the power level was soooo bad. The Buick Grand National was a huge surprise to many of us back in the 80's lol.

    I love...

Re: AGO iPhone App no longer on the store?

The thing that makes me mad about Tapatalk is that several years ago I paid a chunk of money for a pro version and when they started subscriptions, they ignored the pro version owners. I'm not...

    Re: Where to go?

Looks like the Adam's forum is still around. When I took a look, it was not very active. MisterSnoop is correct, I was looking for the pull-cord's location lol. Facebook is poo for anytime you...

    Where to go?

So, are there any other auto detailing forums anywhere else? Just wondering where I might find everyone when the AGO forum finally goes away someday.

I tried to find it on the app store...no dice
  13. Re: The "Suggestions" & "Comments" Thread for Autogeek

I said it like two years ago, forums are dead. Nobody goes to them anymore. The youth are all about TicTok, Youtube, etc. That's also where the advertisers will go so eyes will see their adds or...

Re: Challenger SRT DEMON wide body. Last call.

I hope it never sells lol. Dealer markup on a new car is just asinine. I get it, if they aquire something on trade or get lucky and buy at an auction. The manufacturer should put a percent caap on...

Those bristles of the MaxShine brush (w/white tips) looks like it's soft. Do you think that would work well on the front grille too?

    Poll: Re: SUPERBOWL PICK 2024

I was hoping for Detroit lol.

I don't really pay attention to the woke/anti-woke crap. I do think having a social spotlight is good in this case as it's getting younger eyes on football,...

    AIRMOTO Tire compressor.

So after seeing this thread and then watching some videos etc, I decided I want one lol. I ended up buying one that someone suggested on a nerd podcast I listen to. It's a Ugreen battery operated...

    Re: EGO LB-765 Blower

That's great news. Nice to know their are some companies that pay attention to how their products are being used.

Looks great, man! Nice work! Great looking foxbody, too. That was a good color.
  20. Re: What's your wash Frequency when Blacktop Looks like WhiteTop

During the winter, I would frequently visit those "wash your car yourself" places and spray off the car, underbody, and wheel wells. All those have closed down where I live, so I've been ridin'...
  21. Re: Which product do you still use by Chemical Guys?

I still have a tiny bit left of nonsense all purpose cleaner. Love that for my interior.
  22. Re: Drive it or preserve it? Your thoughts on rare vehicle preservation.

My problem is when people buy a rare car that is pristine and low miles and just completely booch it up with mods (slam it with d-bag air setups, gut and cut things, wide body it etc). I'm certainly...
  23. Re: Detailing Products - Buy the smaller bottle to get the -branded bottle-

I'm the same as chefwong, I hate the larger bottles. After getting carpeltunnel surgery in both hands more than 20 years ago and having arthritis along with, more weight equals more pain lol. I...

    Re: AIRMOTO Tire compressor.

Pretty cool, but I'm on the skeptical side TBH. Seems pretty low profile for something that needs to move air under pressure.

That's a beautiful ride right there. I wish they sold those in the states. Did these have the 4.6L with 4V heads?

Edit: Oooo, I see in your post they had 5.0 and 5.8L. 5.0L were pushrods here...
