  1. Optimum process: hyper compound, hyper polish, ONR, and straight to gloss coat???

I think i saw a review where the Optimum rep says you can go from hyper polish, wipe off with ONR, and go straight to gloss coat... without an IPA wipe. Is this true? Or do i remember incorrectly? ...
  2. Looking for a detailer near Torrance, California

    Detailer found
  3. Re: Product search: I need to treat/nourish my rubber trim before I dress/protect it.

Ron, for really bad trim apply Solution Finish first, let dry, then top with Dlux?
  4. Re: It's never too late - A story of a GT3 revival and full body clear wrap

    Very nice job!

I'm a bit confused with the old clear bra etching. Were you able to remove the line? And if so, how? Wet sanding? Or is it permanent?
  5. Re: Does anyone have feedback on the Adams SK 15mm long throw

Check every other review for Alibaba polishers...

I guess Adam's gave up on the "Made in the USA" slogan

Re: Uses for Nano iBrid Polisher

But the other side of the argument would be, you need $500-600 for the Rupes Nano.

    I love mine thoough

    Re: Harbor Freight Tool Box

^^^I'm pretty sure a lot of their tool as of recently, before the acquisition, are already made from Stanley.
  10. Re: Waterless Wash: Recommendations for garden/weed sprayer

    Why waste money?
  11. Re: Waterless Wash: Recommendations for garden/weed sprayer

I have a uber cheap $10 Walmart garden sprayer that works fine. Spray pattern isn't the best, but it's a great time saver. I also have a nice and expensive Kwazar compression sprayer, spray pattern...

Re: iBrid Owners - Questions here...

I can also confirm the blue pads are almost one time use only. They disintegrate very quickly. Kinda ridiculous they cost $5 per pad when buying a 6 pack. Get a 1 1/4" hollow punch and make your...

What smells better? Sh!t? Or sh!t with roses on top?

    Re: Flex 3401 4 3/8" backing plate

It's not a science. As long as the pad is well supported, then it's fine.

  16. Poll: Re: FLEX XC3401 vs any of the new long stroke polishers???

You can get a super cheap Harbor Freight DA for less than $60 shipped (if i remember correctly, with a coupon code), get a cheap orbital brush attachment, and go to town on your carpets.
  17. Poll: Re: FLEX XC3401 vs any of the new long stroke polishers???

Another reason i would recommend the Flex 3401 is because you plan to get one high end polisher. If you only have one polisher, the Rupes Bigfoot will not be able to handle ALL duties. The Flex...
  18. Poll: Re: FLEX XC3401 vs any of the new long stroke polishers???

I'm quite the opposite to some of the other experiences. The Flex 3401 is very smooth for an orbital (albeit forced rotation orbital) and it does not fatigue my hands. Compare it with a GG6, Porter...

Re: Flex 3401 or griots garage 6"

^^^ What he said. I'm surprised the OP still has his GG6 for polishing duties. Convert the GG6 for carpet use, save it on the side for helper use, or sell it
  20. Re: How to get off heavy stuck dirt on the wheels?

Just refinish them instead of buying new rims. Stock AP2 S2000 rim's look nicer than a lot of aftermarket rims.

  23. Re: Cars with satin black wheels/powder coated (black)..

Uncoated. I'm planning to coat the wheel, not just yet though since i am considering refinishing.
  24. Re: Cars with satin black wheels/powder coated (black)..

Matte black wheels are impossible to keep immaculate. They will eventually take on whitish or brownish stains from brake dust or other random contaminates. My car has matte black wheels that i may...
  25. Re: How to get off heavy stuck dirt on the wheels?

Those wheels need to be completely refinished...

But you might want to try Meguiar's Wheel Brightener. Or if you don't want to buy by the gallon and need something off-the-shelf, get some wire...
