    Re: HD Speed Pads

When I read the title of the thread I thought this was about HD's new heavy cutting foam pads. It looks like it is their version of Carpro's Flash pads.

Re: Buff and Shine 5.5 Inch White Pad

Their softest pad is actually a cream color. So it could be a mistake on the BandS page.
  3. Re: Waxed car, hood clear coat was faded, absorbed wax

Just like others have said I dont think the clearcoat has failed, although the white little speckles on the bottom right of your picture look like they are in the paint. Megs 7 will only work on...

Re: Getting polish out of tiny crevices

Considering what the item is, I would just soak it in warm to hot water for a while then hit it with a detailing brush.

    Re: These products rock!

If you plan on using HD Speed as a polishing step why not use HD Polish.

Try not to get hung up on marketing.

There is no such thing as professional products just professional results. So you are just going to have figure out what works for you.

    Nice save.

This is just a general question for anyone, do you ask the customer to remove as much of their personal items as they can ?

    Re: Trailer build

When it comes to the wheels I would just plastidip them in a color that matches the wrap you are having designed. For just a couple bucks and some labor it make your trailer stand out.
  9. Re: Dual Setups (Mobile and In Shop) - How to organize?

@ Andr3wilson I really like that work bench in your picture. Is that a picture of your workspace?

    Re: Duragloss 761 Glass Cleaner

Scholl Concepts is a all in one type product for glass, similar to Pinnacle's glass cleaner. Scholl Concepts Ice is easily one of the best glass cleaners I have used.

Re: cquatz applied to a plane?

Most smaller aircraft use single stage paint. If that is the case with the one you are working on just make everything is compatible, and even if the coating you go with can be used on single stage a...

Re: Picked up my 2016 Tacoma today

I am the proud owner of a 2012 pyrite mica Tacoma, I love that color. The 2012 is actually my third Tacoma, I think they are the best mid size truck on the market.

I was shocked to see how much...

Re: Sneak Peek: PBMG's new products for SEMA

Maybe they are going to start selling water beads, they could even put them in a bottle.

It would be cool to see a coating with the durability of the original Opticoat.

Re: Gravels in the tire tread? Do you remove?

It is a good idea to get rid of stones stuck between the treads, but I wouldn't go crazy with it. However some tires can suffer from something called stone drilling where a stone will work its way...

I hope you can get your 3401 repaired without spending too much, I would imagine parts can be pretty expensive.

If you do ever attempt something like that just make sure the orange peel is in the top layer that you are removing. It is possible that the orange peel can be in the color layer.
