    I have used "All Kleer" polishes with a DA on my Harley, this helped a lot. You don't need much pressure, let the machine do the work.

    I used to do nickel plating for a living back in the day, it is pretty durable. It is actually a component in the makeup of most stainless steel. In a polish it should work well.
