  1. Re: What's you detailing product that you keep around but don't really use

I honestly don't get the hype either. It's not bad but not life changing like so many make it out to be.

Re: Not quite sure how to call this mess?

The MK7 Golfs had this issue, it was plastic and its almost like the layers were separating. If the MB is the same theres no fixing it would have to be replaced or possibly painted.

Re: Nissan Z Get's a renewal on life

There really are few cars that sound better then the 350Z and G35. Nissan really nailed the tone. 5

    Re: Rode hard...put away wet

Looks unbelievably good. Never ceases to amaze me how people let their cars get so bad. That thing looked more like a 15 year old 6 owner corolla.

    Re: WG SiO2 Sealant

With the SiO2 it should offer a higher level of UV protection. Living in South Florida I notice that the SiO2 lasts longer then the older DGPS 3.0

    Re: Incredibly Cheap Finds

Just scored some detailing chemicals from my local Pepboys. Guy said they are all clearing out the store front and will become a service/tire center only.
  9. Re: 2017 Harley Davidson CVO Street Glide FLXHSE - Just another hog!!!

The bike looks great! Good to see a fellow Harley owner that realizes Lemon Pledge is not the proper way to clean a bike.

Re: 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix Megs #7 rub down

Helps to restore the oils back into the paint, the terry towels will both pull off some of the old dead paint but also push the oils into the paint. Word of caution. It is alot of work and pretty...

Re: 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix Megs #7 rub down

That's correct, it's funny because the 68 was such a bomb they almost cancelled the GP.

1969 Pontiac Grand Prix Megs #7 rub down

Was off work this week so I decided to try out the #7 method on my fathers '69 Grand Prix. A little history, he has owned around a dozen Grand Prix's over the years but this one is special. This one...

Thank you for replying so quickly! Wasn't sure if it be any different since we are trying to restore the oil back into the paint. Ill be sure to post some before and after pictures.
  17. Re: The Secret to Removing Oxidation and Restoring a Show Car Finish to Antique Single Stage Paints

Mike, love how much you've shared about this technique. It has already maybe a huge difference in my father 1979 Trans Am. Now I am tackling his 1969 Grand Prix but he also wants me to touch up some...

Re: Cleaning carpet lined inner wheel arch/guard

My best guess would be that since the wheel wells are "outside the cabin you don't get much noise. Much different in a wagon or SUV.

Re: IMO Best Looking Red out there now....

Soul Red Crystal and the new red on Infiniti Q60 are by far the best reds out there. Pictures just do not do the color justice, it is so rich and deep in person.

Re: 2003 BMW M5 Get's Extracted and Touched Up

Not to far off the E46 M3 got the first gen SMG, not the best system and the M5 got it the next generation up when it went to the killer V10.
