I said I used Duragloss 105 on the Pilot, I meant to say I used Duragloss 501, sorry. I used 501 as the 1 step and it did a beautiful job cleaning up the paint.
I recently detailed my friends white Honda Pilot with similar issues. I had washed the car well and pulled it into the garage but the paint still seemed dirty after washing and claying. I had only...
I agree with ya HateSwirls, EZ cream is a great product. I also use Wet Mirror finish as well, with similar results. They both make the surface very shiny and super slick.
Duragloss 105 is the best sealant I've used yet. Beads water like mad. Can get it locally and it's inexpensive. I did my car 2 weeks ago and it's beading like crazy. I'm thinking of topping it with...
I had a similar problem when I detailed my neighbor's black Camry. When we got it out in the sunlight, she said, ''What's that?" It looked like buffer marks. I took some Klasse AIO I had handy and...
I use the sheeting method followed by my leaf blower for the spots that water gets trapped. I use a nice waffle weave to dry the windows and just a nice plush microfiber towel and Ultima WW for the...
You should get Duragloss #501 for your paint cleaner/sealant. I would top that with Duragloss #105 or Colonite 845. That will easily last 6 months, maybe a year if you use the Duragloss bonding agent...
I just want to add to my previous post. The AIO's I used didn't give the 100% correction you might be after but they made a huge difference with just using 1 step.

I recently worked on an Acura RL with soft paint. I did a 1 step with Duragloss 501 and a white pad with great results. I have also used Sonax Paint cleaner with a black LC flat pad with good...
I really like using Duragloss 501. It has decent correction ability using a white LC pad. I use it on my wiper frames, wheels, etc. It's my new favorite AIO. Just my 2 cents.
I love Wet mirror finish! I wipe on, wait a few mins, wipe off, no probs. Adds a lot of slickness and shine. The VRP get used on just about everything now also. Tires, exterior trim, etc.
I use the glaze before the wax or sealant. I start on the front passenger fender working that whole side of the car then wipe it down. Once the whole car is done, I then apply whatever wax or sealant.
I just recently did a friends truck windows using just Duragloss #501 aio and a meguiar's red pad. I had my neighbor try the Duragloss #755 Nu-Glass on his wifes car. Both worked well with little to...
I have only used 2 glazes so far, both being from Chemical Guys. The Extreme shine (purple one) and the Wet Mirror finish (green one). I really like the shine and slickness of the wet mirror a lot....
She told me to go if I wanted to, so that's not really the big deal. I know if I do go I'll end up getting a trunk full of stuff ha. I think that's my real issue. :)
I am currently on vacation in Ormond Beach, FL visiting the in-laws. Autogeek is in Stuart, FL just 170 miles south. Do I take a little road trip to see the store first hand or not? The wife don't...
Thanks Bobby. I've been looking at the Makita for some time now and watched a lot of videos on using one. Kinda nervous about using the wool, not so much the foam pads though.
Bobby, would you recommend getting a rotary as a part-time detailer? I'm just using the PC atm with some foam pads and surbuf. Getting good results so far.
Speed-Dude, I had the same problem when I first tried this sponge. I had let it soak a few minutes and it was still hard as normal. I was thinking, no way is this touching my car. The next time I...
