    Re: ONR vs N-914

There are more than one way to skin a cat... I personally prefer other RW besides ONR but I met many that swears by it. Its works for them and that's all it counts. I just prefer a RW that has...

  8. Re: What's everyone favorite medium polishing foam pad?

cut up an older 5" or 6" pad into 4 then go to town with it. Thats how I used to do all the tight spots prior to all the mini tools in the market now. It always lots of fun hand polishing the door...
  9. Re: Why use toppers instead of doing a decon wash when performance drops?

From my experience... most spray on toppers on a coating only last 4-6 weeks at best. You could see the hydrophobic property degrades but it would come back after a wash with a good soap like Reset....
  10. Re: Why use toppers instead of doing a decon wash when performance drops?

I think you just open a can of worms.... LOL

Technically speaking... a topper is not needed for a coating. As you said, a PH neutral tar or iron remover could unclog the coating and so would a...

Re: Help me protect my new car

You might not need an iron remover but if you are to decon and clay... why not take the extra step. The process doesnt take that much longer to do plus it would make the claying process easier. I...
  12. Re: What do you think of my rinseless wash routine for a very dusty car?

Pre-wash Effectiveness??? That's really depends on the vehicle's condition. I can only tell you what works for me and that are definitely more than one way to skin a cat.

    If the question was...
  13. Re: What do you think of my rinseless wash routine for a very dusty car?

I was raised in San Francisco and had been here for 40+ years. With all its faults and SF not being the same place I grew up from, all my ties are here. I still have a house in SF and have been...

    Re: Cutting Small Polishing Discs

I been punching out the 1/2", 1", and 2" for over a year. I experienced the lopsidedness in the beginning but with practice I got it down pretty good now. To be honest... the lopsidedness doesnt...

Carpro Lite is not as stout as some of the other consumer coating so it should be easily removed with a light polish. Beyond polishing, One of the benefit of the primer is to prep the surface for a...

Re: Spray wax vs detailers recommendations

Thats pretty much what I am doing now. Honestly, I dont think the durability of the paste wax would last that long but then in my case....it only has to last a month or until the next wash.
