Never tried Fk, but are you QDing when your paint is warm or hot? That makes a huge difference to me, unless your using a QD that's good in all weather. Humidity plays a big role as well, IMO.
In not a huge fan but I am forced to do it at times. I've tried both DP and Blackfire and just haven't been impressed. The traditional method seems to do a better job, IMO.
For my garage car, V7 is hard to beat. IMO it provides more shine and slickness than D156. However, for my DD have been using D156 and have been quite happy. Beading and longevity have been amazing,...
Just tried Poorboys Polish/Sealant today. Pretty good stuff. Easy to work with.....even in the sun and leaves protection and shine. We'll see how long it lasts.
Nice!! I bought mine in 97' with 39,000 miles on it. I was hit on the rear quarter and got it repaired, but it was never the same. She was a blast to drive....have fun with yours!!

Are there any good techniques to detailing the roof? It appears quite difficult to get any leverage for the roof of my car, let alone doing anything with my truck. How do you get good leverage with a...
Are you talking about weather tech's or something similar? If so, most of mine come clean with just a hose and a wipe down. I suppose soapy water and agitation would be needed for really dirty mats.
That's exactly what I was wondering. I visited tons of auto stores trying to find D156, only to find out now that I can get it at Wally World lol. Thanks!
