Thanks again. Nothing like causing you own issues. I never knew that. The Opticoat keeps the looking so good I am not even sure the wax makes a difference.
I feel like a dummy today but I don't get those kinds of suds either. Is it A or E that that will yield the most suds? Can't believe this is not making sense to be. I can also see from the pics I am...
Thanks for the quick response. Could you elaborate on this? I was trying to give the car a little extra shine and I read that people here were doing so that is where I got the idea but if it is...
I am in South Florida and my GF has a 2014 Mazda 6. Her car stays outside during the week. Down here most sprinkler systems are on well water. I had Opticoat on her car and still get a lot of water...
I actually thought of that but I can't take credit for it. I bought a Breville juicer and they tell you to line to waste bin with a plastic bag to make clean up easier. Good on you to come up with...
Usually I have a thick paste ring around the top lid where all the polish and wax sling off. It sticks to everything and takes some elbow grease to get all the residue off all the individual pump...
Usually I clean it right when I am done cleaning pads and it can be a nasty experience getting all the kaka out. This time I left it out for a week and I was amazed. All the polish kind of settled to...
I just spent a couple days polishing out my GF's A4. I was using a Flex and GG with MF and LC yellow pads both at speed 6 with 105. Don't be afraid to bump it up. The clear on her Audi is very hard.
I wouldn't doubt that in my case but we had pro detailers working on the 928 and it fooled them also. It's just so odd the MF does nothing but a finger works. I'm wondering if a foam pad would work...
For those who read my Audi swirl thread, I witnessed this very same problem last night at the Autogeek garage. We were taking final pics of Louie's 928 when I noticed a spot that looked like a smudge...
OK here is an update. I tried 101 on a Megs. MF pad rather than the Opt. pad. Something else is going on. I don't think I have swirls. It looks more like a haze. 50/50 IPA doesn't seem to wipe it...
At this point I think I am making it worse. I can see the swirls with the Brinkman now. As I said it looks closest to the rotary buffer marks. Kind of like the hazy glare you get on your windshield...
The only thing I am not doing is priming the pad after the initial prime. I thought I read you are only suppose to prime once even after cleaning. I am moving slooooooow in small sections. Does it...
This is an 02 A4. I have been working on this car for days wanting to Opti-coat it. The car has a lot of paint chips so I figured to get it the best I can and Opti it so it will stay that way for a...
My journey here started like many others. I bought a Griots R/O, polish and pads. My GF has an 03 Audi with swirls, holo's and oxidation on the roof. I started with Polish 3 and it laughed at me. 2,...
I've started using Black Wow and it works great but I think it masks the dried wax. If the Tornador could actually remove the wax it would be worth it for me to purchase. If you haven't tried Black...
