I would highly doubt the griots sealant lasts a year, but it's pretty durable so far.

I just used collinite's cleaner wax on an LC orange pad and their wax on a red griot's pad and it came out great! I had very little oxidation though.

I've used the GG sealant on a few cars and jet skis with great durability. I haven't tried topping it with a wax though I'd still like to try that to see if it enhances any depth.
