    Re: Door jamb grease

WD40 will cut RIGHT through any grease, as it was originally created as a degreasing agent.
  2. I just brought home a brand new 2016 Suburban LTZ in black...need help with coating

I just bought a 2016 Suburban LTZ in black! I have a ton of detailing experience, especially with waxes and sealant but NEVER any coatings. I am thinking about using a coating, any recommendations of...

  4. Re: Went a little crazy with the pressure washer on wheels.

90% or more are just paint not powder coat. If you blew the finish off, I am wondering if those wheels were repaired, are you the original owner?

    Re: Waxing under rocker panels

NO wax gets applied unless the area is clayed FIRST. My applicators are as clean when I'm done as when I started.
  9. Re: Porsche Boxster - Paint Correction & Opti-Coat Pro by Mr. Sparkle Detailing - Long Island, NY

  10. Re: Waxed car, hood clear coat was faded, absorbed wax

I have a 1999 Camaro SS and it came from SLP. The paint is base/clear, not single stage. Non of the 4th gens 1993-2002 use single stage, I wouldn't be surprised if all the 3rd gens used base/clear. I...

    Re: What would you do?

I am curious as to why a dealer would be selling you a 2016 SS at invoice. I know there is backend money being made, since I work in the industry...but to sell a brand new car at invoice, is odd...

  21. Re: 2002 Camaro Z28 with Meguiar's Paint Protect 365

The factory applied paint on 4th gens was pretty decent, but many of the SLP cars (SS and FIREHAWKS) add on hoods and spoilers were horrible. My 1999 SS hood and spoiler loook terrible, and they...
