    Mat paint coating ?!?

    Hi guys.

    My mate bought a new mountain bike and wants some sort of protection on the paint.

    What are the options ?

    I take it - ceramic coating is not meant for mat paints.

    I dare to say ceramic coating is superior to any wax (Collie 845 was my favorite) in terms of look and durability !

    I usually use cheap engine de-greaser (spray can) brush it with a soft brush and spray off with a hose.

    Any issues with using engine de-greaser at all ?!??

    Issue solved - finally.


    Once I replaced the carburetor, the GX25 now works like charm.

    I can go full throttle, without chocking or loss of power.

    Yep, proper paint correction is what you need first.

    May I suggest you use Gyeon MohsEvo -- very easy to apply and forgiving (to a certain extent).

    I thought that dedicated wheels (& tire cleaners), such as Gyeon Iron Wheel Cleaner or Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Hyper Foam Wheel Cleaner & Tyre Prep are specifically made for cleaning tires.
