    Re: Difficulty removing Meguiar's D300

Ok, so I was using the brush that was suggested to clean out the pad and not compressed air. I would clean the pad every other section.

It's possible I wasn't cleaning the pad well enough, or...

    Difficulty removing Meguiar's D300

I was doing some correction work today using D300 and the corresponding cutting pad from Meguiar's. I was having a HARD time removing the D300 after working over the section. I thought this was odd...

    Re: Sprint or Verizon?

I had Sprint for two years and dropped them at the first chance for Verizon. The call quality was crap in my area (Bolingbrook) and the download speeds were also pretty horrible when I'd commute to...

Re: Government ramming internet sales tax

This tax would be on those businesses making 1M+ in revenue. Also, each state needs to prove the business with the tax table for that state. This must be provided for free. If a business collects...

Re: Question re rinseless or waterless wash...

Truth, I think this sums up how I feel pretty well. Sometimes there's those nooks and crannies.

I also haven't found a good way to do tires yet either.

Re: Question re rinseless or waterless wash...

I love these discussions. For truth, I feel better with a standard wash, but I also feel that doing a rinseless correctly is just as safe.

    Re: Megs Supreme Shine Microfiber

I used to use these, but then they started linting really bad after only a few wash/use cycles. Granted this was in 2010 so they might be of a higher quality now.
  10. Re: For those that use Microfiber Cleaner (Detergent)

How do you guys remove stains that stick around after the towels have been washed in MF detergent? Any secrets?

Re: When washing - drying my microfiber towels

I don't dry my MFs in the dryer (at least I didn't used to). The reason? I used to use dryer sheets in my dryer and they can leave a "film" on the dryer bin that can rub off during other cycles. ...

    Re: AG Microfiber Towel Thread

I don't like the 600s too much. It might be something I'm doing when cleaning them, but they seem to smear around QD instead of absorbing it. As a finishing towel they're pretty great.
  16. Re: Tire Shine Application: Favorite Method and Why

Is diluted Simple Green a good tire cleaner?
  17. Re: Tire Shine Application: Favorite Method and Why

I've found that whatever applicator I use, it gets really really nasty. I just can't get my tires clean enough so that the applicator doesn't get gunked up by the dirt left over.

    Because of this,...

    Re: Detailing towels

Which ever towels you go with, I highly recommend washing them 3-4 times in hot water before use.

Re: *NEW* Autogeek Gear + Giveaway!

Oh, I like the professional detail bag the most. First, I have a detail bag and it's not large enough to hold all my stuff. This certainly looks like it would though!

    Second, nothing says...
  22. Re: What is Ford Thinking!? (New Mustang spy photos)

The Mustang is going international with the next body style. While I love the look and feel of it now, they're going to have a wider market to cater to and will have to adjust for that.
  23. Re: Had to buy a brand new OEM painted take off bumper for my new '12 GT....

In Illinois we're required to have a front license plate. I was actually pulled over one time for not having one. I envy those of you who don't have such a law.

Re: I'm loving the '12 Mustang GT...

From what I've read, the MGW shifter is a must for the 2011+ cars. I've got a 2011 and I've been eying one for a long time now!
