  1. Re: Solution Finish vrs Tuff Shine Black Restore Test

Well the SF is on a panel that lays horizontal and close to the road/tires, this could be a possibility as to why it is showing more pollen than the other areas.

Re: Liquid Glass - What is it?

I have a client that requests I use it on his car.

He supplies it so I do what he wants LOL

    Re: No More Liquid Glass?

Had a customer that wanted me to use the Liquid Glass he had.

Easy on and easy off, looked great on his black car. Not sure about durability, though.

    Re: Black light v7 ???

Blacklight on a white car, and you're suprised that you don't like how it looks?

It's marketed as looking best on darker colors, and I echo this sentiment.

Re: Dream Detail - mk6 GTI

    Gorgeous color, and amazing work!
  6. Re: How to clean windows without leaving streaks?

But, if I dry the car right and the glass doesn't streak, then I don't even use glass cleaner on the outside.
  7. Re: How to clean windows without leaving streaks?

I really like Aquapel or Stoner glass cleaner, on cool glass, and wipe with a waffle weave drying towel.

    Re: Black light v7 ???

I have had awesome luck with the BL/V7 combo. Sometimes I'll top it with the Pete's 53 'nuba, when I'm feeling frisky!

I have had awesome longevity with it, especially for a black car that sits...

    Re: New shop assistant

    Good looking pup!

We rescued an AmStaff too, he's a year and a half old, and an amazing friend.
  10. Re: Scratching the car with Rinseless/Waterless wash?

I don't think you read my post quite right, but I won't fault you for it.

The thing is, I DO use rinseless wash. But I do it the way it's designed to be used, without a pre-rinse. Rinseless, to...
  11. Re: Scratching the car with Rinseless/Waterless wash?

I see a lot of people recommending a pre-rinse before using a rinseless wash.

If that's the case, why even waste time with a rinseless? You're already sitting at the traditional method at this...

I think we used tractor paint.
  13. Re: Have I gone mad? Roller painting my Mercedes -Wetsand ?'s

I roller painted our 24 Hours of Lemons racecar in black.

Looks good from far away, and that's with only a wipe-down prep and zero sanding. It's pretty fun, actually.

Re: First shot at fixing the black Vette

Amazing watching the transformation, good work man!
  15. Re: Most lubricated car wash soap (2 bucket method)

For traditional I really like the Chemical Guys Glossworkz, but I haven't used many different car shampoos. Most of them were just "over the counter" Meguiar's and the usual.

  17. Re: What new autos still have single stage paints?

I detailed a Toyota Carolla, white, that was single stage.

Took me a second to figure it out too!

Re: Pinnacle Bodywork or XMT Shampoo?

I love the Glossworkz, more lubricity than anything I've used.

    Re: Mercedes clk black

    Looks terrific!

How did it get in such poor shape before you worked on it?
  21. Re: Dream Detail - Coming Soon... (Harley skulls inside)

Man you did an amazing job on that bike!

Awesome color too, you made it look really deep and wet with the work you did!

    Re: Horrible experience with SEARS

I worked for Sears during college a few years back.

We were a B-line store, much smaller and in a small-ish town, so we got away with some of the stuff the larger stores didn't.

    If the store...

    Re: Rinseless wash and gloss/QD???

    Agreed here.

I don't use it very often for a quick detailer, but when I do I just grab my clay lube bottle and use that.

Not a fan of quick detailers overall- I only use it on trouble spots...
