Kind of an old thread, but I think the answer might be what someone else here mentioned - wax. Imagine that - back to old school. A spray on wax, or maybe a new wax like the Gyeon Q2 Wax.
If I want to ceramic coat my painted/clear-coat wheels which type of polish could I use beforehand? They only need to be lightly polished to kinda "clean them up."
Would I use the most aggressive...
Can ISM 2.0 or ISM 3.0 be used by itself? Have you ever done that? Seems like a great one and done option, because it can be used on everything - including trim.
I've used Optimum Gloss Coat in the past, and have to say I wasn't super impressed, but I guess it was "ok." Now I want to LIGHTLY polish out my car - should I go with Gloss Coat again? Or do most...
Does anybody know if Gyeon Primer Polish stains trim? I want to remove Optimum Gloss Coat and put on some Mohs. Was going to use Hyper Polish, but thought it might be better to use Gyeon's Primer...
Why do I even have to use a bunch of shims or adapters to use a 4" backing plate? (instead of the 4 3/8" plate). Can't they make one that attaches in the same fashion as the OEM plate?? Or a pad...
This is awesome. I know you buffed the whole bird decal (lightly) but how exactly did you polish (more aggressively) around the decal? Did you tape it off? Or just polish up to the edges carefully?

But it was a big floppy squeegee like the California water blade.
Nice review. I used the kit that doesn't require a drill, and it took forever!
When I was done they were way better, but I still have some tiny little scratches left.
I assume these are left over...
Awesome write-up. Thanks for all the time and effort that went into writing this. I might end up trying this. I sorta need a pad washer. Well, I would like one, but not enough that I would pay a lot...
