Re: Vandalism - Heartbroken, now what?

After you get the damage fixed you might consider a cover with a cable
and lock. They might get the next one,but at least they'll have to work
    for it.

Re: Sound off on this odd question please

With my PC it depends on which speed I'm using, but all-N-all not a big
problem in that it attracts attention.

Re: Buying products in a local store

A neighbor of mine, when he saw my bottle of Collinite, told me that an
Advance Auto Parts on the other side of town had it, but behind the counter for some reason.

Re: Brand New Car - Never Fully Detailed before

Since it's new and it's outside I'd take a look-see at a good quality car
cover from California Car Covers for starters, until then I'd go to WalMart
and get one of the reflective sun shades to...

    Re: Thoughts about car covers

California Car Cover has their Stormweave model that they say
protects against minor dents and dings because of the thick material that it's made from. It's the one I've had my eye on for
    this very...

Glare brand polish. For those that haven't heard of it, you can Google Glare and read up on it.

Re: Exterior plastic and rubber trim?

For plastic and some metals I use SolutionsFinish but not on rubber. For
that I've had good luck with Collinite 845 or 476S. I wash with a good
quality car shampoo and then follow the application...

Re: Mothers Back to Black...worst product ever??

SolutionsFinish. A tad pricey, but it does work, has minimal runoff from rain and I've waxed over it with Collinite 845 and 476S more than a few
    times. Latest was yesterday.

    Re: Hail Damage repaired!

I've been giving serious consideration to a cover. California Car Cover offers one that's padded to help fight small dents and dings. My truck has
    to sit outside.

    Re: Collinite Confusion

I've used 845 and it's paste twin 476S on plastic and rubber trim with no
problems. F150 SuperCrew with black textured mirror housings and door
    handles and never a problem.

  20. Re: Best detailing tools that are not made for detailing

I've replaced Dawn with Ultra Gain, has on the bottle that it's a hand soap and a dishwashing liquid. It does better on washing dishes and it's
a buck cheaper at Dollar General where I'm at.

    Re: Dr colorchip reviews

What I did was wipe down the places that I touched up with alcohol. Did
the touch up and waited 2 weeks with the truck outside in the sun, where
it stays anyway, and then waxed.
