Foam gun for very dirty vehicle.

While my wife's car gets treated well detail wise, my Jeep Wrangler does not so much. I off road it as much as I can. I try to stay away from mud most of the time, but I live in an away where that is...

Re: Jeep detailing on hard tops

The older jeeps are satin too, and painted. I can attest to that with all the chips showing the white gelcoat I have on mine. Haven't experimented with a wax yet, but the Opticoat/Opti seal idea has...

Re: Jeep detailing on hard tops

I have yet to find something that works for my 03 TJ hardtop. Because it's textured and satin finish, it's hard to find something that lasts. I've considered 303 but don't have any yet to try.

Re: Review: Ultima Interior Guard Plus (UIGP)

Just ran across this thread. Think this is the product I've been looking for. I've been so nervous to use anything on the leather seats (1st car I've owned with leather), that I only would wipe the...
  5. Re: Win a Copy of Mike's Book - The Art of Detailing!

To have an opportunity to learn techniques from one of the best in the industry is a no brainer! A copy of Mikes book would be a great asset to my detail arsenal.
  6. Re: First Impression: Optimum Microfiber Polishing Pads

Re: Metro vac worth it for amateur?

Head over to the Box depot and pick up an electric leaf blower. I have a Weed Eater brand for bout $45 and use it all the time on the Z. Works pretty good.

Re: My MF towels are shedding!

Well, before I knew better, I'd just throw them in warm water with other towels and dry on normal heat. Probably ruined them I'm guessing. Guess they'll become my wheel/tire towels.

    My MF towels are shedding!

Noticed it the last time I washed them. Was cleaning my sunglasses when I noticed they left behind tiny microfiber hairs on the lens. Used another one to clean a windshield and had the same thing....

Re: M34 to check final correction results?

Thanks Mike for your quick response. I suspected that, but was hoping to use it in lieu of an IPA/MS wipe down, or the expensive alternatives.

M34 to check final correction results?

Would Final Inspection be powerfull enough to remove polish & oils for correction results? I've read the Menz PP95 and Carpro Erasure to mention a couple is specific for that, but was wondering if...

    Re: Griots or PC?

FYI, the Megs comes with this BP.

    MeguiarsDirect.com: DA Backing Plate

Gravitating towards the Griots though. Can't find any info on what size the Megs motor is (power).

    Re: Griots or PC?

What turned you off on the Meguiars one? Just curious. I too, am trying to decide which one to get. I like the fact that the Griots has a 7amp motor compared to PC's 4.5 amp.

How many MF towels do you use?

What's the average number of MF towels one would use on a complete paint correction start to finish on say a midsize car?

  19. Re: Autogeek's Show Car Garage New Product Showcase - Optimum Hyper Compound
