Re: Wolfgang SiO2 Spray in gallon size

It may be called an obscure way of increasing the price of the product.

    Re: Autogeek sales?

It may be called 'innovative thinking', 'redefining the industry segment', possibly 'mature cost management'. No matter what they call it they are learning and I figure they have more labor 'levers...

    Re: Carnauba Wax Topper

Any topper will mask the characteristics of the Souveran. That said, there is nothing wrong with a spray wax but the law of diminishing returns applies here.

    Re: Autogeek sales?

There are success stories and flops abound. The playbook is typically the same. The need to 'get religion and modify the playbook' has a learning curve. What private equity tends to do is buy...

    Re: Autogeek sales?

Private Equity owns PBMG now... so the influence is typical and the results are as well. Sales are not their thing. I predict they'll "optimize" the PBMG brands but it will take time.
  7. Sticky: Re: Autogeek's NEW Vehicle Inspection Forms - For Cars, Compact Cars, Motorcycles, SUVs, Trucks & Vans

At the bottom of the home page there is a link to a forum thread. The link there seems to be dead. I can share a copy that I have just send me a private PM with your e-mail address.

    Re: Autogeek New Site!

I agree with that statement; as a blanket statement it's just not true. Not every customer experiences the web site in the exact same way; AGO's marketing agency can confirm.

Goes to show how detailing is still niche in the USA. Nice job.

    Re: Menz 3500 runny?

Shake vigorously... I doubt it's bad. I have SF1500 and while I shake it 1-2x per year I've never had any Menz go bad.
  14. Re: Wolfgang equivalent to Meguiars Scratch-X 2.0 ?

There's not much of a comparison to make at all but if you HAD to compare... Wolfgang TSR would be closest in terms of intended use. Personally I am not a fan of TSR at all or FG. I question the...

Me too! I got a good deal with 18 mos. 0% interest financing. :-)

    Re: BLACKFIRE AIO

I would say, "yes" and the polish being dedicated may work a little better. Personally, there are better polishes out there compared to BlackFire Polish but your question is answered. Best of...

Re: User friendly coatings, other than CQUK3.0?

Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Coating (from the syringe) has a 3 to 5 year rating, and is easier to apply compared to CQ. Cure time and process is easier as well since it is a resin-based coating.

  22. Re: Review: TUF SHINE Tire Clearcoat by Mike Phillips

I have never used Pinnacle's Tire CC yet, but I have it. Tuff Shine, at least to me, is the most durable I have purchased from AGO to date and going back several years.

I would try Pinnacle Synergy, 2 layers and then top it with whatever you want after that just for kicks if you aren't impressed.

Re: Buy a ipa or make it?

I suspect you are asking about an IPA "solution". As long as the bottle is airtight you won't get constant oxidation of the alcohol, so "no". And yeah, you have to mix it simply because you don't...
