Re: Turtle Wax Seal and Shine

Washed the wife's car for the first time since using this 3 weeks ago. Using a foam gun and WG auto bathe could not get the foam to cling and get the "snow look". The foam literally was beading up...

Re: Turtle Wax Seal and Shine

I found this stuff on clearance at walmart for under $7. It works ok but I get the little spots that someone else was mentioning too.

Also this product unmistakably smells exactly like Brut...

    Re: The Best Product Ever!?

Never thought of that. I do use WGDGSS on my shower glass and it works really well.

    Re: The Best Product Ever!?

WG deep gloss spray sealant has been my favorite. Easy to use, and you can really see/feel how it works.

Got a thing of Uber for Christmas and I really like what that does too. I use it as a QD...

Re: Drying: Waffle or Microfiber, you prefer?

The CG grey matter towels are excellent. I sill use mine but the CG orange super fatty towels are the best.

Re: Drying: Waffle or Microfiber, you prefer?

It used to be waffle but I got some large CG microfiber drying towels and they work better.

WG auto bathe has always been my favorite.

Is tipping a standard in high end detailing?

Re: Question regarding 3 in 1 products

Isn't HD speed just a mixture of two of their other products? Polish and Poxy?

It's the concentration that you would need to know to make it effective.

Re: This is how I dress my tires

That's cool. I just carry a rim towel with me and clean them as I go.

    Re: Top Coat F11??

If this product was cheaper I'd try it but it's expensive. More expensive than WG products which I already know work.

A lot of IG ads that look really enticing.

    Re: Carpro PERL and Leather

As much as I like PERL I really don't want to sit on it. I also strongly prefer the smell of leather cleaner/conditioners to PERL for the inside.

For the tires though, PERL is my favorite with...

    Re: Social media coatings

Their site sells a 32oz spray bottle with towel for around $60. Too much IMO.

    Re: Social media coatings

The one I get the most ads for on IG is Topcoat F11. They use sick cars for their ads. Then I saw another post on IG trash talking Topcoat. I honestly almost bought some to try but then realized that...
  17. Re: Unbelievable scratch remover (getting rid of all polishes)

Saw on Ig a video of a guy who was touting WD40 for headlights. Not buying that either.
  18. Re: Help why is my white mf towel always dirty after I wash my car

Could this be from dirt that's inbedded into plastic or seams? Dirt that may be hiding in the grill, rearview mirrors or license plate? Dirty water that's coming from inside the gas cap or from under...

Re: Flagged tipped brush & Duragloss #253

After detailing the wife's Pilot on Friday I was gonna apply a second coat of Silk shine to her tires yesterday but didn't because it was supposed to rain. I guess here in CA it's 50/50. The next...

    Re: Honda Civic

The Civic has come a long way. My wife drove a '93 when we were dating. The new ones are almost as big and nice as the Accords

I always enjoy Sizzle's shine n show pics. As always great work.

    Re: Tire dressing help

CG silk shine or PERL. Cut either one 1:1 with water for that satin black new tire, not wet oily tire sheen.

    Re: Sticky Leather Steering Wheel

Yeah the grip tape would look terrible. Perhaps an upholstery shop could custom make a new steering wheel with leather or material that is less smooth.

    Re: Sticky Leather Steering Wheel

You can use that grip wrapping for tennis rackets. If you wanted to go with a chemical some hairspray might add a tackiness to it.

Re: Breaking the ice for the forum

That Del Sol is cool. The simplicity of the dash and center stack reminds me of high school. I can almost smell the Tommy Hilfiger cologne.
  25. Re: Pressure washer auto on / off .... how important is it to you?

I've used both electric and gas for cars and the gas isa PiTA to pull start each time you want to spray. If you leave it running in between uses then you're just burning gas for nothing. Plus, you...
