Re: Meguiars endurance tire gel question

After a week, still has a matte finish. Beads water. Looks clean but not like it did. The ipa helped it dry quickly.

Re: Meguiars endurance tire gel question

Ok so I did my experiment and cut it 50/50 with isopropyl alcohol. Worked awesome. Just needed a little bit. Spread easy. Has satin finish. Looks wet but is dry by the time I finished the next tire.

Re: Meguiars endurance tire gel question

I’ve used it before and didn’t like it. Like other products better. So I wrote it off. But seeing it on this car and applied the way it was looked amazing. Just seeing if this was something being...

    Meguiars endurance tire gel question

Long story short. Saw a Detailer cleaning cars at work. He had all the equipment. One car was done so I stopped to talk to him. Super nice guy. Anyway, the tires looked awesome. Looked dripping wet...

    Spray on rinse on

Been a while...what’s out there? In the past, I used hydro2 but ended up using only on wheels bc of streaking on paint unless conditions were perfect. Saw hydro blue....what else is out there that’s...
  7. Re: How to remove/strip Meguiar’s Hybrid Ceramic Wax

saw a post by mike Phillips recently where he said pads don’t matter much. It’s the compound you use that does. Why not get a griot 6” with a 5” backing plate and some Meguiar’s polishing pads and...

Get a da. You can’t mess up on the paint
  9. Re: How to remove/strip Meguiar’s Hybrid Ceramic Wax

I watched a video where someone used a store bought iron decontaminater and it greatly affected it. Then used optimum opc and it was pretty much done. So I think any stout apc will take it off. Maybe...

Is that different than ultimate black?
  13. Best bang for the buck trim restorer available?

Is McKee plastic trim restorer the best bang for the buck trim restorer? I’m looking for something solvent based. I use Perl now. But it washes off too quickly for me.

    Tar remover

I’ve been completely unimpressed with otc bug and tar removers to remove tar from rocker panels. Nothing seems to work all that great. I’ve tried roadkill but I’m looking for something stronger....

    Re: P21S polishing soap

Update: used those cloth covered/textured bug sponges and it worked perfectly. Much more durable. That what is offered from P21S.

    P21S polishing soap

Have plenty of soap left but the sponge is pretty used up/falling apart. What’s a good alternative to use in place of the sponge? Or can I buy a replacement sponge?

Re: How to tell if I used enough Collinite 845?

I have never found it hard to remove. I do the hood and front 2 panels then remove the hood. Do another panel then remove the next panel I did. Work my way around like this. Works great. Lasts for...

Been out the game for 2 years or so. When I was big into detailing, tuf shine was top dog. McKee tire coat (dp then) was new as well as a currently discontinued turtle wax tire coat. What’s best...
