  1. Re: Last Day of Cyber Monday! 25% Off, Free Shipping Over $50, Cyber Busters All Day Long!

    It's worked for me.
  2. Re: Last Day of Cyber Monday! 25% Off, Free Shipping Over $50, Cyber Busters All Day Long!

Woohoo! I've been taking advantage all week buying microfibers at a deep discount. I have all the elite microfibers in 3 colors plus the buff and shine deal just offered. Cyber busters, plus...

    Re: Polishing pontoons-advice needed

Bought a Flex PE14 on sale last week from AG in prep for this project. I plan to run twisted wool LC 7.5" pads and some mini pads for details.

My Premier has unpolished toons from the factory. ...

    Re: Liquid Souveran/Collinite 845

I found Liquid Souveran on top of 845 compromised the 845 durability. However, LS gave the car an awesome wet glow.

    Re: Jason Rose Leaves Meguiar's

That was a joke, before anyone gets excited. I'd love to hear where he ended up. Unfortunately everyone is being quiet. Meguiar's has turned out some great folks and Autogeek has been lucky to...

Man, NuFinish has picked up one hell of a good front man. It will be interesting to watch their venture into high end detailing products.

    Polishing pontoons-advice needed

I have a 2013 Premier Sunsation PTX tritoon and I'm looking for a recommendation on products, process and procedure to polish my aluminum toons. They're currently bare and have only mild...

Re: Black Label coating + sealant + booster

Ugh! Use the booster only. Topping a coating negates the benefits. If a coating needs to be topped with a conventional wax or sealant you're using the wrong coating.
  12. Re: The OFFICIAL Duragloss Enviroshild review thread, everyone!

Foam applicators suck for coatings. Having applied 5 different types of coatings I can say a block wrapped with MF suede cloth (CQuartz method) works the best and is inexpensive.

Re: ... to you business park landscapers!

I think you mean muscle car... unless you also have a red Miata.
  14. Re: The OFFICIAL Duragloss Enviroshild review thread, everyone!

It's been doing well in my 4-way test. Not quite as good as OC 2.0 and CQUK, but it looks great and is super easy to apply! The only problem I had was I found I had to use CarPro eraser and/or IPA...

    Re: Dlux trim seal

Dlux is one of my favorite products hands down. Allmy trim looks like new with a satin/semi-gloss just dressed look. If you want it to look more natural, just buff it off after 5-10 minutes. The...

    Re: semi perm wheel coat

OC 2.0. I don't see an advantage to semi-permanent over permanent. Either one will need to be removed abrasively if you don't like the looks. I prefer OC 2.0 or CQUK for wheels due to their...

Look how much Autogeek wants for Blackfire wet diamond now $50! You could buy Duragloss paint coating and get many applications for the same price.
  20. Re: CQUK vs Duragloss vs DP vs Opti-Coat comparison

    Update:

So far on the roof all four coatings are holding up well. The first pic is during a light rain. Duragloss is the driver's front, OC 2.0 is the driver's rear, CQUK passenger's front, and...

  22. Re: Giveaway! DP Power Wash + BLACKFIRE Total Trim & Tire Sealant

My favorite is Blackfire Wet Diamond sealant. It's easy and quick to apply leaving a deep wet finish that is slick and lasts for months.

What if we don't care about foam and suds (which are superficial) and just want an effective presoak wash for a foam gun?

Re: caution re: well known detailers

You could check with Detailer's Domain in NJ.... they list clear paint protection film.

  25. Re: Product Review: Eco Touch Waterless Car Wash

I'm going to have to disagree. UWW+ leaves behind protection and a slick surface on coated vehicles.
