    Re: Rinseless Washes - 2022

I'm going to dump a bunch of DG Aquawax in ONR for giggles.
  2. Re: What product do you use as a drying aid after maintenance washes?

Wouldn't BSD serve as a good drying aid? My understanding is it is thick and can be diluted ... seems like spraying on a wet vehicle should work.

Re: Best MILDEST polish by hand ?

Seems I tried it, and it was very difficult to remove by hand.
  4. Re: Wax or sealant you can apply to the entire car before removing???

    Same

Haven't tried Ultra Lock Plus yet ether. Wonder if it's a significant improvement of Power Lock Plus.

I've read Adam's butter wax is a breeze to remove even after applying to the entire...

Re: Best MILDEST polish by hand ?

Oh what I would give for Meg's to reintroduce this!

Got great results by hand every time.

Re: Best cleaner wax OR AIO for hand application

    Really? A compound by hand?

    Doesn't sound too easy.

Best cleaner wax OR AIO for hand application

Haven't kept up on the newest offerings. Unfortunately, due to physical limitations I'm just in the market for a paint cleaner & spray wax/sealant combo. I clearly realize hand polishing is futile...
  8. Restoring a sheen to all weather mats without adding slickness???

Would a rinseless wash and wax or duragloss aquawax work?

Re: Spray Sealants - 3-6 months

Me too! When i finish my current bottle of 3d Bead it Up, I'm using the DG Aquawax I already own.

My car is a daily driver that lives outside. I'm done with the boutique products ... just want...
  10. What product do you use as a drying aid after maintenance washes?

    3D Bead-It-Up for me.

Very easy to apply/remove even in direct sunlight. Descent durability.
  11. What product to protect this painted plastic part?

Re: Which paste wax is easiest to remove???

I never got good results with F1000P, but I'm pretty sure in was user error. I'm sure I applied it to thick.

Re: Which paste wax is easiest to remove???

I remember it being a "beauty" wax with limited durability.

But back in the day S100 and Clearkote Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze were a breeze to apply and remove.

Re: Looking for an All In One Polish, Help me Choose

I'm going to try 3d Speed & 3D Bead It Up.
  16. Re: Griots Ceramic 3 in 1 Wax vs 3D Bead It Up as a drying aid?

Woe! My head is spinning :)
  17. Re: Griots Ceramic 3 in 1 Wax vs 3D Bead It Up as a drying aid?

Think I'm leaning more towards the 3D Speed/Bead-It-Up route now.
  18. Re: Griots Ceramic 3 in 1 Wax vs 3D Bead It Up as a drying aid?

Is that the Griot's CERAMIC ALL-IN-ONE WAX? I was thinking the same ... using 3 in 1 ceramic spray wax (or possibly Ceramic Speed Shine now) to maintain the Griots AIO

    OR

    Using 3D Bead It Up...

Thanks! I'll look into Speed Shine

Re: Removing polish with wax and/or sealant

Nah, it was old school. Not ceramic prep.

Perhaps a Griots product. The vid explained how the surface residue aided bonding.

BTW, my old chemistry prof became a meth dealer.

    I know it...

Re: Removing polish with wax and/or sealant

It was a review of a specific paint cleaner or polish (No not DG 601).

    Maybe P21S paint cleaner???

Damm age related senescence memory loss.

I’m going to find that vid now. My life has...

Re: Removing polish with wax and/or sealant

Could have swore I read somewhere on AG that a little polish residue actually aids in bonding.

Of course I can’t find the reference now.

Re: Removing polish with wax and/or sealant

I don’t actually remove all of the polish with an LSP. Rather, I don’t strive to buff to perfection as I immediately apply a wax or sealant with a small amount of polish residue still remaining and...
