Re: Tire cleaner - what product should I be using?

Tuf Shine Tire Cleaner outperforms ARO and Optimum's APC in my experience. It is the best tire cleaner I have used to date.

Re: How to get dried wax out of cracks?

I use wooden shish kabob sticks that you buy at the grocery store. Much stronger than tooth picks, easy to control and you can sharpen/shape the end to suit your needs.

    Re: Tire dressing opinions

The Tuf shine is not cheap when you look at the cost per ounce. When you consider how little you use and how infrequently you need to apply the cost is much more affordable, not to mention that I have...

    Re: Clearcoat for tires !

I had forgotten I made this post. I have Tuf Shine now and I love it and my Opti Bond sits. You can vary the amount of shine with the number of coats. More coats = more gloss. I would not say that it...

    Re: Which Blaster ???

Save your pennies and get the Master Blaster. I operate mine on a 15 amp circuit and starting 1 motor at a time I have never had the breaker trip. Hands down more effective than my leaf blower.

Re: anyone have the hoover wall mount vac?

I looked at the Hoover GUV and several others. I ended up buying the full size Metro Vac n Blo. ZERO regrets. A fantastic machine and yes it has more suction than the Hoover.

    The only draw back...

Re: your fav. bug removal product

I like PB Bug Squash diluted.Properly diluted, it will not strip wax like APC's

I use it to pre-soak bird bombs, sap and these tannish brown spots I get on my paint at work.

Re: Who has the Daytona & Wheel Woolies

I love my Wheel Woolies. Worth every penny.

I still use the Daytona in addition to the Wheel Woolies. I can bend the stem on the Daytona to a 90 and clean the back side of the wheel spokes.

  19. Re: What do you use to apply your favorite tire dressing? And what is it...?

    Jim,
I am glad to see you are liking the Tuf-Shine as well as I am. My only regret is I waited so long to try it. My absolute favorite product for tires hands down.

    Re: Realistic Daily Driver Expectations

Touch-less washes are OK in a pinch but the soaps they use are very harsh. They are hard on your LSP's and rubber on the vehicle. The towels they offer are probably not the best and who knows how...
  21. Re: What do you use to apply your favorite tire dressing? And what is it...?

Opti-Bond 1:1 with the Optimum spray gun.

Tuf-Shine is my favorite product for tires applied using their applicator.

For all but the most neglected wheels, Mothers All Wheel and Tire cleaner does a fantastic job. Very good at cleaning the rubber as well as the wheels and it leaves the wheels nice and glossy.

Re: What's the latest 'trend' in ONR washing?

Yes. My wife does not use a QD spray during the process like I do and she has noticed an increase in the gloss of her car.
