I'd like some accurate predictions because if I buy that Lamborghini the week before the 21st and then have to make the first payment because the world didn't end, I'm gonna be pissed :xyxthumbs:
I just used this stuff a couple weeks ago on an 2011 Ford Expedition. I found it was nicer to use than ONR, didn't streak as much while drying (which was good on the Expedition, that thing was huge)...
I agree with Dad07, after 3 aftermarket alternators for a Pontiac Grand Prix, we went with a GM part, worked great. Go with the GM part, might solve your problem.
I usually spray the whole seat, let it sit for a bit, then scrub, then hit with a wet terry towel and then the shop vac. Make sure you get the whole seat cushion or it'll usually leave spots.
That's good to know, I had the MF pad on mine crooked, tore the pad to crap and ripped the velcro off the back plate. Guess it didn't like the extended use, crooked orientation, and 110 degree heat...
Tried the BFWD for the first time this weekend, it dusted a little (used the Megs Ultimate Wipe microfiber also), but not enough to bother me. It did get streaky the next day, but I think it's the...
Lowe's has gallon sizes?? I'll have to go there, Folex works great, usually hit the stain with it, let it soak, and usually they come right out (well if it's recent, the 4 year old drink stains in...
My 06 Yamaha FZ1 does the same thing, polish and the pad comes up a little red. It has the tinted clear, there is no damage to it at all, so I'm thinking this is what you are seeing.
I have 2 tubs of this at home (bought at $20, but they were all gone before it hit $10). I like this wax for lighter colors, on my dark metallic blue truck, I find it gives it a hard shell candy...
I like it, works good, seems to require a good amount of product, but the wax part seems to hold up decently and the polish works well to bring out some gloss and remove minor swirls.
I had one delaminate while using it (3"), I think I had way too much product on it and the glue let go (similar to LC Hydrotech if you use them while wet). Let the place where I bought it know and...
I use Autoglym HD and it find it looks kind of like a hard candy coating, not exceptionally deep. So I topped it with Gold Class and that helped. Autoglym does last well, been 4 months through the...
Yeah I agree, I did the whole car first (per the bottle instructions) and the stuff wiped off easy (I did this in a garage not sure about direct sunlight). Super easy to work with.
I used the new MF/D300 and I have to say it's the easiest thing I've used so far. Low dust, good cut. I need to try M105 and MF for deeper defects, but a good 85% correction with MF/D300 at one...
Too bad you are in Texas, if we get a Ford Flex, I would look into you redoing all the chrome trim black. Looks better that way on most cars, great job!
Thanks guys! Yes the leather took 3 hits with APC and lots of scrubbing, then the leather conditioner. He told me 10 years he's never cleaned the seats, so I was surprised they came out as good as...
On to the exterior. I used Meguiar's Super Suds wash, Degreaser for the engine, APC 4:1 for tires and wheel wells, P21S for the wheels. I then clayed with Meguairs, Blackfire and some agressive clay...
