Don't know about this stuff but Adam's Graphene Spray is impressive!

Re: New Graphene product from IGL and maybe carpro?

Actually graphene is pretty cheap and easy to make. A little goes a LONG way. Almost all car products will use Graphene Oxide.

    Re: DeWalt cordless DA polisher

My brother in law has a Flex XCE 8-125 18.0, I tested it out before I bought the Dewalt DCM848B. While I haven't had the chance to do a side-by-side comparison, I like the Dewalt better. Both have...

    Re: DeWalt cordless DA polisher

I can't exactly answer that. But a 6 amp-hour battery isn't noticeably heavier than a 4 amp-hour battery when connected to the buffer. However, I imagine if you jumped to an 8, 9, or 12 amp-hour...

    Re: DeWalt cordless DA polisher

Yes, the Craftsman backer will fit it. Dewalt's parent company - Stanley Black & Decker makes and supplies many different brands.

    Re: DeWalt cordless DA polisher

The big advantage that this Dewalt orbital buffer has over the more expensive Flex is I can easily upgrade the batteries to 6amp-hr, 8 amp-hour, or even 12 amp-hour batteries AND use them in my other...

    Re: DeWalt cordless DA polisher

I'm getting 2 new 6 amp-hour batteries. I did the entire hood of my F150 yesterday with one 2 amp-hour battery. Battery performance varies. Outside temp, battery age/condition, Lithium purity and...

    Re: DeWalt cordless DA polisher

Amazon sells the bare tool for $269. Mine arrived today. Already had Dewalt 20V batteries and charger. The polisher is awesome! Powerful, smooth, little to no vibration. Brushless, 15mm throw,...

    Re: Mckee 37 hydro blue

I have a hard time believing that. I get that it needs water. All the "strong jet" does is disperse the product. If you are working with a very wet surface and spritz the product on then wipe...

    Re: Mckee 37 hydro blue

Seems like a more economical way to use it. Same with Meguiars Ceramic Wax....it works best on a very wet surface as a drying aid.
  12. Re: SONAX Polymer Net Shield - Closest thing to a coating without being a coating

Shine, durability, beading, etc. Is one much better than the other. Soft99 Fusso 12 months seems to be a better value because from what I've read you can get 25-30 applications out of a container.

    Re: Mckee 37 hydro blue

Has anyone used a spritz of Hydro Blue on a VERY wet surface as a drying aid?
  14. Re: SONAX Polymer Net Shield - Closest thing to a coating without being a coating

I'd like for someone to compare PNS to Soft99 Fusso Coat 12 Month.

    Re: Best topper for CQuartz3.0?

    Interesting....
Can you provide a little more info about how you make this concoction and when/how often you use it, and how is it applied and removed? Thanks!
I like the economy and efficiency...
  16. Please create a Coating(s) directory as a standalone topic

Coatings now deserve it's own permanent and separate space.

I have few samples of it. I don't understand the product or how best to use it. Enlighten me and I'll give it another try.

    Re: The Best Product Ever!?

    Liquid Glass from the 1980s.
It was the first “enthusiast” polish/wax that completely surpassed Turtle Wax, Rain Dance and Blue Coral Polysealant

Re: Review - CarPro Cquartz Leather Coating

If coating blocks moisture from getting into the leather it’s also blocking moisture from leaving the leather.

Re: Rupes 15mm MK II vs. Chinese 15mm...my thoughts

Most all copy-cat / stolen tech from China sucks. In MBA school there is even an acronym for it CSFC,
Which stands for cheap s#it from China.

Re: Review: Wolfgang Uber SiO2 Silica Spray

Guessing Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic and Mothers CMX will match if not outlast Wolfgang SiO2 at a lot lower price point. Time will tell.

Re: Mother's CMX CERAMIC SPRAY COATING

Potentially added gloss gloss and depth. I don’t think Fuzion spray wax would harm or remove the CMX coating.
I suppose it’s worth experimenting with.
