    Obviously it also depends on pad choice but am I correct to assume that the faster speeds are more for cutting/correcting and the slower speeds are for "massaging" the paint? By massaging the paint...

    You'll LOVE it!

    And, BTW, I put a little Air Tool Oil on mine in between uses. It's better to be safe than sorry IMO.
