Re: Will Flex 3401 burn paint?

With the FLEX you will have much more versatility especially with the Lake Country BP set.
There is a learning curve but it is well worth the effort IME. If you want the versatility, FLEX is the...

Sorry I missed this! I do appreciate your thoughts very much!.
  4. Re: Plastic trim lower-body scratches, how to deal with them? (pics)

A safer method to feather the scratches in textured trim IME is to use CarPro Reflect and an orange pad on a DA. Try Speed 4 first and increase as needed. Wipe off residue immediately. This is...

Re: Cutting power of the rupes?

I don't doubt your opinion, but you paid a fortune for the versatility of the FLEX, purchasing 3 RUPES to do what one FLEX can do with the LC BP purchase for ~ $60.

Re: Cutting power of the rupes?

I too will blaspheme! If you are only going to buy one machine, the FLEX has unrivalled versatility as stated so well above. There is a learning curve but IME it wasn't bad!
  7. Re: Ok detailing gods, I joined just to seek your wisdom on this - ENGINE BAY FILM

CarPro PERL masks better than all else IME.

    Re: Drying Aids

I use AMMO Hydrate as instructed. I wring out a wet towel and so spray a mist of Hydrate on the towel. I follow up with a dry towel. I use Microfiber Madness Dry Me Crazy.

Re: What's your favorite light polish?

I have tried many. IMO CarPro Reflect finishes like no other. It finishes much faster than Menszerna 4500. G|Techniq P1 my favorite cutting Polish
  10. Re: The OFFICIAL Duragloss Enviroshild review thread, everyone!

    White coats very well IME.
  11. Re: The OFFICIAL Duragloss Enviroshild review thread, everyone!

BTW, the MAX temp to coat is 90. I would wait for 80 IME.
  12. Re: The OFFICIAL Duragloss Enviroshild review thread, everyone!

Also, never apply with temps > 90 degrees. They flash too fast
  13. Re: The OFFICIAL Duragloss Enviroshild review thread, everyone!

I respectfully disagree. The polymers from the rinseless could adversely affect coat bonding To be sure use Squeaky, Eraser, etc.
  14. Re: The OFFICIAL Duragloss Enviroshild review thread, everyone!

    I 100% agree, John!

Re: Last Min Coating Prep Question

Just use Eraser and you will be fine! Of course wash first. Do not use ONR.
  18. Re: Pinnacle Black Label Paint Coating Application Tips?

    Very informative. Well done!
  19. Re: Anyone use Rinseless as their primary wash method?

I agree Bob. I don't have water restrictions in SC. The method I described is not intended to limit water use. It is intended to take advantage of my climate controlled garage.
  20. Re: Anyone use Rinseless as their primary wash method?

    Ammo Hydrate is best IME!
  21. Re: Anyone use Rinseless as their primary wash method?

    Bob,
Ikeep a 2 gallon garden sprayer of UWW+ on hand. My process is
1- hose off car and drive into garage
2 - Spray down car with UWW+ and then prepare rinseless. This allows time for dwell....

Re: Wanting to try Rinseless wash

I prefer using the Microfiber Madness IncreediSponge over all other wash media I have ever tried with rinseless. IMO UWW+ as a rinseless or ONR are the best.
  25. Re: Gloss enhancing pre wax cleanser for Polymer Net Shield

Duragloss Squeaky Clean will ensure max bonding.
