Well with proper prep and application to my parents car it has lasted over 2 years and is still going strong... Looks great too but the car is a gold color with flake so others with a solid color...

The spots appear on what appears to be the side of the vehicle... The light color of the vehicle and location is a pretty good indictor to me. Either way clay is working for the guy so problem...

It polishes out with a fine polish... it does not take long but sometimes you need an aggressive clay.

Yup... it will look like you dry sanded it haha

I use paint cleaners when I am not going to polish. I do not clay without polishing... So cars I am not doing paint correction on get a quick go over with a paint cleaner by hand before waxing to...

Are you guys using these more with rotary or DA? Does the layer of softer foam reduce the cut acheived from the more aggressive pads on DA where presure is more needed?

Try it in some factory wheels that have been neglected so we can truly see how good if is! Hubcaps a a cake walk :)

was it the coarse green pad or the one that is a little softer then the white lc pad?

I had a LC DA backing plate pull the same trick with me last year. When I ordered a new one I noticed they had beefed them up a bit more with the steal plate and 3 rivots

Yeah... that's aggrevating... I don't know what I've changed about how I clay but the last couple I've done with anything heavier then pinnacle has looked sanded
