    Re: Review: DUB Wheel Cleaner

Yes, of course, it is with using a wheel brush, but it cleaned up pretty easily.

Sorry, forgot the after shot. Rust is gone and no stains from the DUB Whee Cleaner either.

    Re: Review: DUB Wheel Cleaner

DUB Wheel Cleaner also works great on stubborn rust spots on vinyl siding. Tried a number of different CLR type products that never worked. I would guess Iron-x and Sonax would work also.

    Sorry...

Maybe your right. I was looking at the CarPro web site on "Cquartz UK". For CQUK, it says to wait a "minimum" one hour before layer.

" - Can also be layered: Allow 1 hour minimum wait time...

Re: Will M205 or SF4000 Remove CQuartz?

Why would you need to remove it all if you are topping with the same product. From my understanding, Cquartz is supposed to layer.
  10. Re: The OFFICIAL Duragloss Enviroshild review thread, everyone!

I applied CQUK this weekend (70 deg) and the results were hazy. I applied too slow, thin and waited too long to wipe off.

I stripped and reapplied. This time I used more product on the pad,...

One week update on sheeting compared to Carpro Reload.

Again, DGNCC (Enviroshield) over entire car. Reload topped on driver side of hood only.

  13. Re: The OFFICIAL Duragloss Enviroshild review thread, everyone!

Temps are supposed to be around 68 degrees F tomorrow around 11am. Maybe I will wait until then to apply.

CarPro web site states the following for CQUK:
"Idiot proof application in any Temp....

Man, that is not what I want to hear.

I am about to put CQUK on my daughter's car tomorrow.

Any tips or pointers before I apply it?

Re: Did I use too much IRONX?

Yeah, I guess that would help... It was the .5L bottle (16.9oz).

    Re: CQUK on Door Pillars???

Thanks again. I will use the CQUK on the hard, glossy plastic and when my DLUX arrives (probably in a week or two) I will use it on the textured plastic and rubberized trim as you suggest.

Did I use too much IRONX?

I am preparing to apply CQUK to my daughters 2014 VW Jetta tomorrow.

Today I washed, IronX'd, and clayed.

It was really interesting seeing what the IronX does on a white car.

    CQUK on Door Pillars???

I am going to be applying CQUK to my daughter's car tomorrow but was wondering what to do with the door pillars? They are a hard, glossy plastic.

I believe I only mentioned once, that the beading could be tighter.

It is the sheeting ability that I was disappointed in.

But for the overall results, I am pleased.
  21. No. I am happy with the results.

  24. Re: The OFFICIAL Duragloss Enviroshild review thread, everyone!

If you have used this product and you are getting fantastic sheeting, I am happy for you. I could understand how you might conclude that "user error" is the cause of it not sheeting fast. Please post...
  25. Re: The OFFICIAL Duragloss Enviroshild review thread, everyone!

Yes, that is the one I saw also. He uses ONR Wash and Wax, but he does not think that enabled the sheeting. When you said "others have had success with it", I was hoping to see additional videos.
